I always found the Care Bear Cousin Call to be kind of interesting.  I guess they were a little stuck in the first movie because the Cousins didn’t have tummy symbols yet, so they wanted to come up with another way for them to do something like a Care Bear Stare without them. But it looks kind of silly to see them just yelling.  So in the second movie they made them shoot musical notes from their tummies as they yelled, which looked pretty good, IMO.  It always did look a little weak how they only had one stream whereas the Bears had a whole rainbow. And then in the Nelvana series they pretty much just made them do a Stare from their tummies just like the Care Bears.  From what I remember, in the DiC they call it the Call, but it looks like a Stare.   I wonder sometimes if that’s one reason why the Cousins haven’t been used as much in later versions.  I really do think that the Care Bear Stare is one of the most well known aspects of Care Bears, and the Cousins just never seemed to get something that is nearly as memorable. It’s also interesting how Noble Heart only ever did a Stare, despite commanding the Cousins to Call.
