Surprise! || immortalizingthemoment
Johnny was quiet as she spoke and just as silent the rest of the walk, only the metallic click-click of his boots on the concrete implying he was still following her. They had passed his house and he’d given it a short glance, but he still said nothing and his expression was unreadable.
When they arrived, he became a little more attentive and glanced around, walking inside cautiously. He watched as she closed and locked the door behind him, and inwardly he felt a little apprehension but didn’t argue, merely drew his trench coat a bit tighter around himself and inspected her living room.
"It doesn’t look..as bad as I would have expected," he commented flatly, then went quiet again as he heard the commotion above. He blinked, and one brow was quirked as he glanced up and listened. He appeared to be rather uncomfortable suddenly and looked back at Tess. "…Sounds…pleasant," he said as he ran a hand through his hair.
It was anything but pleasant to listen to, of course, and he had to admit he couldn’t blame Tess for going insane. Forget any curse or ‘responsibility,’ just that racket would be surely be enough to drive even the most sane person out of their mind.
Tess wasn't sure if what he had said about her place should be taken as an insult or compliment and opted for just ignoring the comment for the moment. At him noticing the commotion upstairs, glad he could actually showed it wasn't all in her head. "Far from it." She said dryly and moved forward watching him run a hand through his hair and shook her head from any thoughts that tried to form in her head.
Something seemed off as Sickness suddenly grew really quiet and the commotion stopped. Tess blinked before looking up at the ceiling, she was use to Sickness making her commotion it was eerie when it suddenly stopped. Something was off and she narrowed her eyes at the ceiling. "That however is disturbing me greatly." She said slowly her head slowly tilting to the side as if gauging what Sickness was doing up there.
Tess then realized her walls were rather quiet and a giggle started to softly echo down the hallways from her room upstairs. A ear piercing screeching of metal on metal echoed out causing Tess to flinch and her left eye to twitch in annoyance. "Always up to something." She mumbled to herself as the screeching continued. "You shouldn't have brought that piece of shit Johnny boy hereeee~" Sickness sung out eerily. Tess slowly trailed just her eyes to Johnny's form and clicked her tongue on the back of her teeth.
"Ignore it." She stated with a roll of her eyes, "Just trying to get under your skin... Probably to let her out." She shrugged and her body tensed up as the screeching of metal on metal grew louder and louder. 'Going to take your legs off if you don't stop it Sickness.' Tess thought bitterly before turning to the other side of the room, "I have a few things to check on... you're welcome to follow." She said, she had sound proofing foam on the walls down stairs that were near the door she went down to get there so screams didn't echo upstairs and that also meant that the screeching would disappear-- something Tess was going to be happy about.
