When Lyonel offered Dunk anything in thanks for him saving gowen did he have any idea dunk would be interested in him or did he imagine dunk would ask for some kind of monetary favor or something else?

I’m so glad you asked because he was honestly just running off at the mouth trying to express his gratitude to this insane piece of ass who he’s half in love with, and he has no idea Dunk remembers every word Lyonel has ever said to him and goes through each of them every night, reviewing them one by one like they’re in a Rolodex, and as far as dunk knows they’re to be taken completely literally!!

If they talked about it at the current point in the fic, it would go like this:
