does it ever drive you crazy that in the canon of supernatural there were hundreds, thousands of universes in which dean and cas didn't get together, that the universe of canon is the only one where cas continued to disobey and choose his family and the love of his life until the very end.... and now, because of that story, we are creating hundreds of new universes every year in which they get together. because of fan fiction, some day there will be more universes out there where cas and dean get together than universes where they don't. that's so beautiful man :')

I think the thing I love most about Destiel is the fandom. The art. The stories. The unwavering dedication and love.

Just think about it..

The show has been off for 5 years... TECHNICALLY its only half cannon( Cas romantically loving Dean) although its pretty fuckin obvious Dean feels the same way( see literally any scene Jensen and Misha share from like season 5 on but I digress)

Ive been slowly working my way through fics ( Destiel more than 2k words.. Its ALOT) and the creativity just blows me away. So many talented people.. So many stories.. Alternate universes and episode inserts.. Different ages and places, different occupations, different relationships.. And yet it always about love. Because thats what Dean and Cas inspire in people... Love.

To my fellow Destiel truthers, if you're having a bad day or are tired.. If you feel lost or alone.. If the state of the world gets too heavy or you dont think you can take another minute.. Just remember
