Bruce can cook, by the way.
And Alfred saying he can't is literally telling on himself also!! The lifetime ban thing makes me so angry. If Bruce can't cook because of how he was raised, well who raised him?!
Yup!
Batman: the Knight #2
One thing I always like to note about the "how do you mess up a tuna sandwich" incident is that it has nothing to do with Bruce's ability to cook or prepare food.
The tuna was expired. That's how he messed it up.
And if there's one thing you can reasonably say Bruce has had very little experience in having to do or keep track of (at least at the time), it was household inventory.
That is a good point! Buuut I still find it hard to believe that The Batman (a very observant guy) wouldn't notice that the tuna went bad and then proceeded to feed it to Tim.
So instead, I'm choosing to believe that he decided cooking is just not something he has time for, so he paired that tuna with a herb or spice or something that is completely harmless but not a great combination at all. And then went: "OooOoh I'm so helpless in the kitchen, Tim! :) You definitely wouldn't want to ask me to make you snacks! :)"
In zdarsky's batman run alfred tought bruve how to cook and Bruce also sometimes cooked for them though probably only when alfred was away or preoccupied
Old comics gotta love them
Do you know what comic it is in canon when Bruce/Batman says to Dick/Robin, "Think clean thoughts, chum"?
Yup, Bruce says that to Jason in Superman Annual #11.
And Dick actually says that same line to Tim in Nightwing #142.
Giving didgital art a go
Oracle doodle
Mob boss Tony zucco vs mob enforcer Dick Grayson
Ok,but Bruce took some inspiration from dicks bat suit design
Even though he's not cool enough to get then in their heads, but at least he grabs his ears back and clicks then into his cowl

Nightwing (2016) #130
A compilation of Dick being an absolutely terrifying Batman. Like my guy please chill ur scaring me.
1) Finding and nearly drowning interrogating The Penguin in the middle of a bath
2) Explosions™️ (like holy shit the gas container in the left corner????? what the fuck dude????)
3) Lurking
4) Grabbing people by the throat like a legit animal
Bro please smile. Do a little giggle. Do a flip. Be normal pls bc right now you’re currently deciding whether to kill these guys or yourself and I am not confident on the answer 😭
Dickbats with a kid
(Batman 1940 #711)
So apparently there was someone chucked into arkham a couple of cells away from the Joker in the Dickbats era but it wasn't Jason, it was James Jr ( only in a lie he was telling barbara tho)
Batman: the black mirror
warning — this is no way an accurate description of the characters, but i hope it’s at least funny
i made a quiz, if anybody is willing to put up w my terrible humor :')
Gotham knights:11
Nightwing annual 2
Forgive me for thinking Bruce would have kinda understood
Batman urban legends #4 Red hood and Batman cheer
I like of how Bruce just dropped everything and ran as soon as Oracle said that Jason was in trouble.
Like, Bruce was in the middle of helping save someone and when he herd that Jason needed him, that Jason had asked for him, he just up and left because his boys are his number one.
Yeah sure there were paramedics with the victim but still, Batman left when someone was hurt to go save Jason, he couldn't risk loosing his son again.
Nightwing (2016) #42
Yeah, he can be scary
Nothing would hurt Bruce anymore than if Dick and Barbara had kids and they also called him Bruce instead of Grandpa
