The next time they tell you Americans are “happy” with their employer provided health insurance remember that that “happiness” is fueled by willful ignorance of what the alternatives are really like and fear of losing what little crappy health care they currently have.
Every conservative who hears this kind of thing says “but how much are they paying in taxes???” like that’s a fucking GOTCHA, like any amount of taxes could ever be too much for everyone’s FUCKING HEALTH.
There are backsides to public health care but I can guarantee you every single one is better than the ridiculous horror show the U.S has turned theirs into. If you create a for-profit system for health care, then by it’s very nature it means it benefits from either bleeding you dry or denying you treatment.

Jeez, I thought that was a still from a Frankenstein movie at first
Sketch of The Fury from Alan Moore's run on Captain Britain. The Fury is a "cybioid", an adaptive android created by Prime Minister Jim Jaspers of an alternate reality, who was himself a mutant with reality warping powers. Jaspers was elected on an anti-superhero ticket, and created The Fury to exterminate all the superheroes of his world and leave no opposition when Jaspers used the world as his playground, the only survivor being their version of Captain Britain who escaped to the mainstream Marvel universe. Among the Fury's victims were British heroes such as the Miracleman family, The Steel Claw, and even comedic junior hero General Jumbo.
WAIT THE DILBERT CARTOON IS REAL? I always thought it was an elaborate childhood hallucination I had
It was real but it had no involvement from Dilbert’s shitty asshole creator which is why it was actually funny
Finished my most recent binge of Bojack Horseman. Who knew crippling depression, alienation and nihilism could be such a font for creativity? And the show is pretty good too!

From 1973′s The Cat #3. Yep, that is that Frank Miller, then 16
A lot of people are jackasses as teenagers. The problems happen when they never grow up. Frank Miller is still the same whiny douche today.
Like most superhero settings, this one has a laughable understanding of mutation and evolution
For the past few months I’ve been working on a Psychonauts/Young Justice fan story, and I decided to make an illustration for it in the Psychonauts style. Never drawn that way before but I think it came out okay.
