Whenever I see a woobified interpretation of Mindfang who makes her talk like Vriska 2.0. I go into my Sovereign of the Sunken World doc and write 4 pages of characterisation I can stand to read.

Why is there a Serket kinnie screenshotting half my post on Mindfang to take it out of context.

I kid you not, one of the things this RosaFang shipper wrote in response to my post was:

"You don't need to rewrite my journal to make your case for why you're allowed to ship me with my chud son."

One, Signless isn't a chud. Two, if you were Mindfang then she would not even know the concept of a 'son' or a 'chud' given the nature she's a 18th century pirate and an alien, and also not a redditor.

Three, and most importantly, it's not YOUR journal?

Real question. If you actually believe she SA'd Rosa, then why the fuck do you ship it.

It's always a little absurd to watch the moral calculus people invent around hating Signless and Mindfang as a ship.

Mindfang gets written off because of “the Rosa incident,” but if you actually look at her journal entry, all she had her do was undo a few coat buttons. I know there's people who draw Mindfang in skimpy clothing, but the official artwork shows her wearing multiple layers.

I don't even ship Mindfang and Rosa but that moment has been exaggerated so dramatically by fandom retellings that it barely resembles what’s on the page anymore.

Meanwhile, in the same conversations, people will enthusiastically pair the Signless with figures like the Orphaner, who is not just the actual character who held his Mother as a slave but explicitly genocidal in both action and his subservience to the Condescension, or the Grand Highblood, whose entire existence revolves around systemic violence, religious oppression, and the slaughter of the very people the Signless dedicates his life to protecting.

And somehow that’s treated as more acceptable for Signless to be open to having a relationship with than the woman who states in canon she finds his work to be 'endearing'.

But pairing him with Mindfang, a rebel who for all her brutality, directs her violence toward the same oppressive structures and targets the same elite class he condemns that’s where the line gets drawn?

Context: the reason this post was written is because screenshots have been leaked from the Official Homestuck Discord server showing that they are probably responsible for getting the unofficial server taken down, or at least conspired to do so. It is also clear that they have been attempting to mass report /r/homestuck and two other subreddits since February in an attempt to get them taken down too. There are a few other things shown in these screenshots which are immediately disturbing. We believe this to be a continuation of a pattern of behavior of legal intimidation and malicious interference towards Homestuck community spaces and members.

Andrew Hussie has a history of being litigious and over-controlling, with one example being forbidding art commissions based on Homestuck (which Vibri has since lied about, saying Hussie never wanted this to happen). This has escalated since the end of the comic into seeking total control over the fandom

As of 2026, they have begun discussing the weaponization of US police reports to silence fans who are not anonymous.

Not me waking up to the HS Subreddit talking about how AH wants to take over the space that's been solely ran by the community for like 10+ years.

It's kind of ironic, how the community in that subreddit is what kept HS alive during the Gigapause Era and the entire time after HS ended and Hussie saying they are done with HS, but now that AH knows they can profit off of people (with the success of the advertising merch/plushies in the official HS Discord, that they probably want to expand their shills to a bigger audience.

Mmmm, I love capitalism where even community spaces are corporatized!
