i love living with an untreated personality disorder and a barrage of other mental health issues
Trauma is so annoying. You eat something and immediately remember eating that thing always with one of your abusers and you feel back in the room with them. Or you look to something as mundane as a certain type of chapstick and think âI used this primarily when I was with themâ. Iâm sick of the associations to all of these people who have ruined me.

Depersonalisation and Derealisation Information
We get a lot of questions on DPDR, so I thought Iâd pull a little information together on the topic.Â
Hope this helps someone and everyone is OK.
Depersonalisation and derealisation are often difficult for people who experience these states to describe.
In general people experience a sense of detachment from reality and a detachment form their sense of self. In most cases these two symptoms co-occur.
Symptoms are often triggered by stressors in life, severe anxiety and commonly also drug use. Symptoms can be transient and last only a few weeks, if this is the case generally no treatment is required. If symptoms are persistent or have a large impact on functioning, then it is the best course of action to seek some professional guidance from a psychiatrist or psychologist who has experience with dissociative disorders.
Depersonalisation is not just detachment from the body âThat isnât my legâ but it can further into thoughts as well such as âThat thought isnât my ownâ or âMy head is filled with cotton woolâ etc. Also a person may detach form their basic needs such as hunger, thirst etc.
Derealisation means a person may feel like they are in a bubble, or a dream or like they are detached from what is going on around them in some way. Some people may experience viewing things in 2D or they may lose colour or seem flatter than they otherwise would be.

The amount of privilege in this photo has embarrassed me to the point that I simply do not want to be a human being anymore.
Oh my fucking God learn to cut your own hair you entitled pricks.
âmassage is essentialâ Not during a fucking pandemic, Karen.
This seems like a good time to share this.

I found Kendall Jennerâs daily workout and it takes like 10 min to do. She does this and eats around 1200 cal a day, so I can do this daily too and see results. Today was day one and it wasnât too difficult so Iâm excited I know Iâll feel it in the morning though lol
masterpost of my fav pilates workouts âď¸
My mother is a pilates teacher and Iâve always watched her as she worked with love and passion, however Iâve never understood how truly amazing pilates is. Iâve been doing on my own pilates workouts for a year by now and with my momâs teachings Iâve seen major changes in my physique that not even thousands of cardio workouts could achieve. Also I have to give props to whoever invented pilates because you can stay in your home, without sweating too much and wearing comfortable clothes and at the same time getting effective results. So I chose to share some of those videos with all of you and Iâm going to update everytime I find some new that I enjoy and think are suitable for everyone.

Be aware! some common mistakes people do and that Iâve done for a long time:
donât hold your breath, breathing is your friend: exhale during the hardest part of the exercise and inhale during the resting part
DO NOT ARCH YOUR BACK! THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. If your lower back is hurting youâre not working your abs at all but youâre just hurting yourself. Donât push your body where you arenât comfortable, there are always modifications you can do.
always keep the core strong when youâre in plank positions, otherwise youâll be working your wrists instead of your abs.
when youâre doing squats be careful to your knees, they have to be in line with your toes: you want to work your booty and quads, not hurt your poor knees.
open your shoulders, stay tall like you have a glass of water on your head and open your chest because your back needs lots of love and care since we always neglect it: posture is so important!
donât think working out as pain in the ass: it helps your body, itâs a moment of healing after all those hours spent at school or at work, itâs a moment of recovery and serenity that you owe to yourself.

Things To Lift For Depression
As someone who suffers from major depressive disorder, severe anxiety, and frequent panic attacks, I have been on Wellbutrin, Abilify, Prozac, Xanax, Paxil, and Brintellix without any relief. In fact, most have given me terrible adverse side effects or allergic reactions. I am well aware I will probably suffer throughout my life with depression, but there are ways to make it more *tolerable* sometimes. Here is a list of things to lift yourself for anyone who is depressed or has the occasional blues. These items especially help me when I spend a day at home with nothing but food, my bf and puppy, and Netflix.
đ Clothes - Really soft and cute sweatpants. I recommend any Victoriaâs Secret Pink sweatpants for this. Itâs no surprise that when youâre depressed, everything seems 100x more terrible. For when you want to do nothing but sulk, soft sweatpants will be your best friends. Donât try to squeeze into uncomfortable scratchy jeans! - An oversized shirt. Whether itâs your own or your boyâs oversized shirt, let yourself drown in this while you cuddle up in bed and cry. - A cute, flowy summer dress. Everyone experiences depression differently. Some donât care about their appearances and would rather just slum it (me) and others feel slightly better after feeling cute! So steal yourself a cute lil dress and put it on and admire yourself in the mirror. - Fuzzy socks. There is no question about it. - Slippers.
đ Food I know some people lose their appetite with depression, but I definitely have a huge appetite when I feel depressed. I do stick to comfort food thatâs extremely easy to make because I become severely crippled when my depression gets at its worst. I can barely get out of bed. - Donuts. Chocolate covered, sprinkles, glazed, idc get whatever the fuck your heart desires because you deserve some donuts. - Bagel Bites. Yummy, yummy. Itâs so good, comforting, and so easy to make! - Hot chocolate in a cute mug. - Cheetos. Yes, so unhealthy. But these puffy little motherfuckers are always by my side whenever Iâm blue. - Tea of your preference.
đ Medicine/Herbal Supplements - St. Johnâs Worts. An herbal supplement that has been effective in treating depression. It can interact with other medications, SO PLEASE CHECK BEFORE TAKING ANY. - L theanine. An amino acid that is found in green tea. It can drastically help with anxiety and combats the bad side effects of caffeine. - Ginkgo Biloba. Whenever I get severely depressed, I become foggy and hazy. Ginkgo is a plant that helps with brain alertness. I find it improves my foggy feelings and sluggishness that comes hand in hand with depression and post panic attacks. - Bachâs Remedies. Check online for what could help you the most. These flower essences are supposed to help you naturally with anything ranging from depression to anxiety to PTSD.
đ¸ Boosting Items If youâre low on money, I recommend boosting lots of items. This is so when you are at your worst in your depression, you have some money for shopping for items that you CANâT lift. Retail therapy is REAL! You deserve to treat yourself. - Naked Palettes. The normal big ones or Naked Basics always sell within the first 5 days of me listing it on eBay. I usually boost Naked Basics because it is a small palette that is easy to conceal. Retail price at Ulta is ~$30, and I have been able to boost mine for $27. - OPI or Essie nail polish in lots. For OPI, I suggest going to Sallyâs Beauty Supplies. That place is so extremely easy to lift from, I wonder if the SAâs even care. I have taken up to 20 OPI nail polishes in 1 visit to Sallyâs and turned a pretty big profit. For Essie, I find Bed Bath & Beyond extremely easy. Sell the nail polishes in sets of 2-3 for like $12-20 for some easy cash. - Michael Kors or Kate Spade anything. Iâve never lifted a handbag, but I have lifted a little Michael Kors wristlet from Marshallâs before and made $50 from that. - NYX soft matte lip cream in sets. Again, BB&B is extremely easy. You can sell these in sets to make money.
đĄ House Decor - Candles. As many as you can. Just lift a ton of cute and great smelling candles and light them all at once. Itâs almost impossible not to feel even a little bit better after lighting an adorable candle. - Plants & flowers. Plants and flowers are said to help with depression. Brighten up your living area with some vivid flowers and succulent plants!
⨠Miscellaneous - Crayons and coloring books. I might be alone, but when Iâm depressed, I like to revert back to my child self to cope. I draw and color like a little kid. - Books. Happy books! Immerse yourself in happiness. - Tranquil Turtle. This cutie helps me out at night when I canât sleep. It projects an ocean floor onto your ceiling. - Bubble Bath and Bath Bombs.
INSTRUCTIONS: - Get all the above items plus all the blankets, stuffed animals, and pillows you have. - Grab your boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife/BFF/dog/cat/etc⌠and have a Netflix marathon while cuddling up to them. - Get your boosting money and take your cute lil booty out for some shopping (without having to worry about getting caught since youâre paying! And also, shopping for items you CANâT lift.) - Try to smile but never force it. If you feel sad, allow yourself to feel it. Embrace those feelings instead of bottling it up. - Remember to lean on those people who are there for you - they want to help. - If you feel lost, Iâm always here if anyone wants to talk.
*I will be adding onto this. But Iâm tired and going to bed.* *Anyone can add onto this.*
