2:30 am thoughts

Today, I have realized that I could not say that I know him well enough. I have discovered things that he didn't tell me before. It saddens me to know that he lied many times, and that he had done it in the past. It saddens me to realize that he could really be the one I never thought he was, that I am just trying to avoid the truth. But I am also hopeful that things might really turn into good this time. I am hopeful that we have learned a lot from the past and we should be able to get our priorities straight this time. I love him. I love him to the point that sometimes, I forget that I have to love myself too. I have told him that his happiness are my happiness. I love hard and that can be dangerous too. I am terrified of the idea that things might possibly happen again. Because I don't know if I would be able to survive the wave that crashed me entirely. But you know, I am willing to risk it all, because that's love. Yes, that's how love works. You can be afraid, but you are still willing to step forward. That's how brave our hearts are. It's a leap of faith.
