armand's life was one of spacious rooms, high ceilings, decorated walls and a luxury afforded to him through this tongue of his. the grace through which he moved through the world was nearly beyond his control, the seduction and the art of the deal something he'd learned long before he'd ever been free, himself - the grandiosity of this cognizance could never be lost on armand. he, like so many in his line of work, understood more than most that it isn't money that they trade between hands but desire; plutarch and livy were fine mentor's in this corrupt game, but armand did dishonest all on his own. stack was right, but he resents the idea that someone he does not know should know about who, and what, he was without understanding the context of why he is the way he is. ❝ my mind games? ❞

"yes mind games." it amazes him how armand could walk around pretending nobody knew of his existence. or stood there playing it like stack wasn't aware of those special skills, gifts he's acquired for as long as he lived. the devil was famous, his maker, remmick. who knew another devil lingered around, oddly enough both knew how to use mind games; strategically to their advantage. organically, creatures like them were all interconnected in some way, through energy, scents.

"where the wind blows, word spreads. heard about this man with angelic features with deep evil rooted through his veins. big eyes, hypnotizing in nature a soothing voice to go with it all." he saw those eyes widen a bit, intrigued by knowing what little he grasped from people that came and went from this bar. taking seat, elbows resting on the wooden desk, the other gracefully taking his time because time is all the have. "fine, we can talk all night long if that makes you happy." or pleasure, whichever came first. "true we can take advantage each other to what extent, who knows." and there it was, the name he's heard through the grape vine. stack loved money, loved power, and he liked what he was hearing. the idea didn't sound so bad. "you see, that's where we are going to have a problem. i want to own the entirety of the du lac country, not half. what is this du lac person to you? and get out of my head."

a brow raised. "ah~ just for protection, then?" no need to elaborate. she only laughs, and lets it stick like a mocking reminder, alright then, it said, as haughty as anything. hot, cold, tepid, fine. she commanded a natural ease within this space, however sparse it was, everything having a spot, a place, a thing that POPPED OUT to make her life easier right now. the alcohol was the least she could provide, though she would mourn her sheets come the morning. blood was terrible to wash out sometimes.

the syringe in her hands presses into the space above his bullet wound. "it might be. but i suppose it's TOO LATE NOW~ let me know if you feel like biting." there's a knock at the door, and ada, she's checking a camera before they're given entry, taking a step back to allow the professionals to get to work. her hands fold behind her as ada's left to lean against the wall within her room, letting her knees brace her, her eyes closed to the sights but not the sounds of surgical tools at work.

the whiskey bottle, eventually rescued for herself. she'd nurse a sip, or three, while waiting. who knew how long it would be? but after all. what's she to do? leave strangers watching over a man left VULNERABLE? the doctor's speaking japanese, but ada's long learned the language herself. it was always interesting to hear what others had to say when they thought you didn't understand. "are they ferrying you off to some recovery suite? especially now that you've been thoroughly protected."

protection was just one of the things. he silently gave away with his eyes, a thing he couldn't say. ada already knew what it is, he didn't have to say it; a thing they usually do. communicate through quiet gaze. alcohol in his system it was time for the next part, a syringe against his open wound, making koji groan in discomfort, already feeling the cold sweats. droplets of sweat formed on is face as he laid on the mattress below. in koji fashion, a grin formed on his lips. "i feel like biting on something, definitely. not a thing, a person." he should be staying quiet, enjoying every last bit of her care and hospitality but, he simply couldn't, if he could just .... have that moment again in the car, that would be nice.

with her allowing his docter access to her room, immediately going to work with silver tools and other medical tools. thanks to the syringe that ada applied, the pain became bearable at least. a quick examination over the bullet wound, his gaze fell on her. the doctor spoke nothing and let the magic work instead, he wasn't the talkative type. thankfully, retrieving the bullet, stitched him up, wrapping up that section with a gauze and medical grade tape. instructing him to keep it easy by staying in bed and on the low for the next day. the torture that would be for her and the bed sheets, and him too. "no, but if you want me to go, i can." he says, finally looking away from her. he already began to move, legs hanging off the bed while holding the spot where he just got shot.

koji would hate to impose and he already ruined her bed sheets. despite doctors orders he was stubborn enough to never listen. he could never stay in one place, even if he was bleeding to death. for the most part, he enjoyed the peace right now, limited unfortunately. "we should do this again." he says in a joking way, the urge to grab her right now, embrace her in his arm because this could have gotten uglier than it did. ada knew how to take care of herself, no doubts there. this wasn't his first time having near death experiences.

ah, how much he's heard that from nearly everyone around. ridiculous it was to try and get a reaction out of him, especially armand above all who desired his for centuries. lestat lived his life freely without apology, he happily preferred it this way. ridiculous ? he had to disagree, his life now, surprisingly a high that he couldn't control. as he stared into the face of angelic features and round brown eyes, underneath the innocent facade, the devil still lingered; a wicked deceiver. a faint smirk settled idly at the corner of his mouth. "mm, good question. still trying to figure that out. but know this, the purpose is still not you."

still to this day armand intrigues him and that's all he'll ever feel. "why the sudden curiosity armand." leaning back into the leather couch, legs extended, boots on the table. one thing is for certain, music became part of him. opera became an obsession those years ago, to which armand had witnessed first hand. "i enjoy what i do." it was his turn was it not ? to tell his version of events, share his life through his songs. "that's as simple as i can put it for you. what's the purpose of your visit."

The fact that he was a creature of magic who once belonged to a witch was probably not something that gave Samir sympathy points. And frankly, Louis being a vampire added to Samir’s discomfort as well at first. There had been enough vampires out there who wanted to eat him, hoping that his blood would gain them some kind of magical abilities. This was not the case, of course. But over time, Samir saw something in Louis. He saw the troubled man, the man with a history. He saw vulnerability behind those green eyes.

His hand caressed Louis’ forearm a little bit while he tried so desperately not to tremble too much. But his body had a different plan. “Don’t say that,” he whispered even though he knew that Louis only stated the obvious. Yes, he was trembling. Slowly, he turned his head just enough to face his vampiric company of the night and glare at him a little. “I will not do a public show, and you won’t wish me to do that either,” he whispered, and his voice dropped to something that could be considered a warning. And yet, it was Louis’ palm against his growing arousal that made him whimper once more. So much about being angry and snarky. All of these emotions went out the window so fast. Almost automatically, Samir got up from his chair. His hand came to rest on the vampire’s waist. His head tilted up just so slightly as their lips touched for an almost sensual kiss. Samir felt like he was melting on the spot, and his pants became much more uncomfortable by the second. “If I have such a stupid idea again, just pin me to the bed, yes?” Samir groaned softly, took Louis’ hand in his own, and tried to cover up his little problem a bit as he guided them outside.  “Embarrassing, they keep looking.” He whined, pressing himself closer to Louis’ side. “Fuck me in the car!” it suddenly burst out of him. Wait what? Samir covered his mouth with his free hand the moment they walked out of the building. From the corners of his eyes, he looked over to the other man. “I did not say that!”  He did.

if louis was evil enough to do so he would throw a show without an ounce of care. "i can if i wanted to, you know that." he can paralyze them all as well, but this ability of his only grants him a short time. a hand fell upon samir's firm arousal, begging for release. ignoring the warning all together. "got you all whimpering and we haven't gotten to the part where we take out clothes off." how things can quickly change in a span of minutes. samir tried heavily to not fall for his charms, however louis is the king of charms. his little super power. the kiss was just the beginning, it's been long since he's ever laid with anyone as he lived his life in solitude and isolation. louis found joy negotiations, making business, investing in whatever he found interesting or what will bring him money; of course he conducted these under an alias.

after their rather sensual kiss, green eyes stared at samir's perfect face, angelic like. "there's no such things as stupid ideas samir, expect to be fucked everywhere." for that's the beauty of sex, fucking in unlikely places. "the bed won't save you from how rough i can be." with that said, samir took his hand hiding the erection within those pants as they left the event without saying their goodbyes. "as they should." the vampire mean samir's handsome beauty. "you are breath taking." mouth watering too but he'd rather keep that part to himself for now. a smirk appeared on his lips at the idea thrown. "yeah, anything you want." grabbing samir by his small wrist, taking them to the parked car, opening the back door as they both climbed inside. "you did say that, came out of your mouth. take off your pants unbutton your shirt." he demanded with a determined expression while he unbutton his shirt, unbuttoning his pants.

Elias tilted his head a little to the side as if he wanted to study the older vampire closely. It was true; they had to get rid of those first and then think about the fang gang again. The whole Armand told the truth worried him a little even though he wasn’t talking about it just yet. A wave of relief washed through his body when suddenly the bodies burst out in flames. A bright grin stretched on his lips, and he approached the older man to hug him tight. “Thank you, Uncle. What would I do without you?” he kissed Lestat’s cheek. Of course, he had to be nice now; his uncle saved him from a very complicated situation. “Uncle?” Elias started after a bit of silence after he let go again. “Don’t you think your rockstar career is getting us even more in trouble? I heard stuff while I explored the city. I heard the tooth— I mean fang gang is planning to come to your next gig.”

what would elias do without him? .. lestat bursted out in laughter, tilting his head and sapphire eyes watching the younger vampire closely. of course in his nature or payment for, yet again, helping him out with situations as this. placing band-aid over band-aid every damn time. a judas kiss on the cheek would make everything better, make the blonde vampire less angry, less bitchy. maybe less toxic. "your welcome." the words leaving his lips as soft as a whisper. more laughter this time higher pitched than the last. he's been on social media, long face still sucked according to the haters and non-worshipers. elias didn't know about how he sat in silence when alone, hearing to the voices from all over, he's heard them one by one in all different languages. "if it is, so what. you, i worry about you. leaving your dinner in dumpsters, recycle bins, the 7-11 five blocks down. yeah ... i know about that one." widen his eyes at his princeling. "problems like your body dumpling will have unexpected people trying to eliminate you." the talamasca. "let them come, besides they were in the crowd during a few shows." shrugging. "one of them said long face sucks." another shrug, he blamed larry, the guitar didn't sound right or perfect. that was a work in progress. lestat exhaled, a hand landing on elias' shoulder. "you would be the talamasca's problem." answering the question from earlier. "uncle always saves the day, call me for help. and together we'll worry not draw too much attention to you and your messy work."

still working on the docs but i came to the decision that i will drop muses just bcs i have no muse for them and having them within a world that revolves around mostly iwtv/tvl, sinners & resident evil seems unfitting. however i will keep 2 ocs from the roster which includes koji & river. all other ocs will no longer be available. i also added a small queue for the weekend. if anyone wants to plot things further, though i suck at doing that, i try my best 🥴 . poke me in the dms, if discord is more of your forte leave me your username.

few people could get the read they wanted of ada. did she want you? was she laughing with, or at you? the spy had long grown comfortable in assumptions and half-made remarks, with smirks and insinuations, and then that surprise when she'd chose a moment, if she felt the RIGHT MOOD FOR IT, to pluck and pull that potential into something fun for a little while before she'd inevitably disappear. that's life. you never know when you're going to live, and when you're going to die, and the escapades tonight truly exemplified that.

he questions her ; and again, she scoffs, that glance that bore the edge of a smile that was built to disarm. "consider this me paying you back for saving me back there~ i'm not into owing people FAVOURS." tongue, sweeping over her lower lip, as they're delivered, in what could be considered short order, to the place she likes to call her temporary home. she so rarely did more than sleep here, the whole place rather barren, same a rack that seemed to hold more luxury gowns and leather then it did anything practical. the life of a spy. a short laugh escaping her lips as she helped to guide him through to the door that was her own. "of course you do."

she deposited him in the bed ; luxurious sheets, and a comfortable mattress, the best of the best for what she did have. he'll bleed through those nice navy linen sheets, and leave behind a souvenir of himself without meaning to. or perhaps, from the way he's been acting tonight, he'd hardly regret it. a hand grasping at her own as she stood, her brown eyes fixed onto his for a measured moment, before she gently loosened his grip. "i'll be back. but i'd rather make sure you don't bleed to death before your HELP shows up." off to grab a syringe, a swath of bandages, a bottle of whisky... "here." the bottle, to his hand, as she flicked the end of the syringe, eying him. "... to numb the pain for now. can you be a good boy for me~?"

"your answer doesn't surprise me." he says with a lazy shrug. "i don't expect you to repay me by stitching me up, saving you wasn't a chore, did it merely for protection - not for you to feel like you owe me a lifetime debt." koji knew she'd disappear today, tomorrow or in the next hour; that was ada for you.

she could rest assure that koji being in her home, awaiting treatment by someone on his team they would go back to being nothing but strangers. they shared something what can be considered endearing or sweet. but that's as far as things will go, he was not in the position to let their small yet dangerous escapade form hope; he was never allowed to be hopeful - that was the life of an yakuza member. nothing is guaranteed, not even whatever you would call that he feels for her.

"i'll manage." he says softly, laying on luxury bed sheets, soft comfortable bed. his phone buzzed, reaching for it and reading the text that gave an ETA from the doc who was ten minutes away. ada returned with a bottle and a few other items. eyes falling on the whiskey bottle which he took from her hand, flicking the cap off skillfully as he drank the strong brown liquid that burned his throat, and now his stomach. an old bourbon bottle made a year ago. eyes fell on her when she opened her pretty mouth again. "sure that's not a lethal poison that will turn me into a zombie. and haven't i been a good boy to you all night? - i've held up this long babe, a guy can only go so far with pain like mines." taking another few sips of the alcohol before she administered the dosage to calm the pain.

his team arrived, a middle aged man with glasses, button up shirt and grey slacks appeared with a leather case. "he will take it from here. i'll be out of here soon."

the last of dusk was dying and here armand stands, a man charmed by the brazen tongue of a boy - for that is what stack is to him, despite the physical years and the differential between his own apparent age and stack's, he is a boy and he carries with him the playful youth that armand did not know the taste of. it entices him. ❝ careful now, ❞ armand suggests as the man steps back, the soft freefall of his out-held hand curling back inwards against his belly. his hand flattens against the vest there, toying with a button with one of his nails. tempted to pluck it, but he doesn't; the urge to admonish stack for his playful transgression's is brought to an abrupt stop upon receiving that compliment. as throw-away as it is, armand's eyes still carry the weight of that smile. ❝ you hear business and out come the pleasantries. how - ... very predictable of you, stack moore. you won't be so charming when you find out just how persuasive a negotiator i can be. will you? ❞

armand's gait is slowed as he takes a step forward, crowds stack, before pushing past. deliberately brushing shoulder's now, the head turned to inhale whatever it is that clings to the man's body, musk? blood? something sweeter. smokier. he doesn't deliberate, doesn't turn back, only says, ❝ come, show me to your office. ❞ before stomping the the non-existence mud from his shoes so he can head inside.

trailing the tip of his tongue along the very sharp fang, before gliding the wet pink muscle across his smirk visibly present still. glowing eyes watching the other closely who stood just feet away playing with the button of his vest, as modern slang nowadays the kids called it aura farming. centuries weighed on his shoulders, eyes seen too much. yet carried himself suave collected, and even ones like armand, one couldn't trust. there was always a motive behind each negotiations, this one wouldn't be any different. "hm, i'll try." taking a pick from out his shirt pocket, placing it between his teeth. stack wanted to know what diabolical things plagued armand's mind. "i hear negotiations and i can't refuse to listen, does not mean i'm agreeing to anything ... yet." business is business and often times stack did the listening, sadly most he declined as it didn't benefit him or his establishment.

"with a presence and tongue like yours, one would easily agree. more so if nothing goes your way, right? - oh, i heard about your mind games. always a neat trick to make someone your bitch, i admire that talent." stack as heard about armand through the grape vine, in passing - yet not the entire encyclopedia that is the vampire armand.

"persuade me little devil." ah, the nickname he had adopted just now. eyes following the other, brushing shoulders. stack made it ahead of armand, guiding him to his small office, showing the other to the leather chair. he walked towards his desk where he sat at the edge, hands resting on one thigh. "you got thirty minutes to have me on your side, and trust once you do - the world will burn."

"Do I trust you? With finances? Not at all" Nicolas answered very bluntly. No, he did not trust the sunshine with wise financial decisions simply because Lestat was never in a place where ledgers and accounts had to be considered...but he had always been a provider. His family would have long starved had he not gone out to hunt the very food that sustained them. "But fine, just this once, for one evening I will trust your judgement and question you endlessly on how you have come up with enough money to afford a meal out and why we ought to spend it at a cafe instead of...better bedsheets? Or grain for the winter?"

Oh, what did it matter they would most likely die soon anyway, if not by some thief slicing their throat the freezing cold winter would take them. "Alright, alright whatever you wish." They would spend money out tonight and he was only going along with it to make Lestat happy, Lestat deserved to be happy and never know despair.

"You are difficult to say not to when you are being so saccharine sweet" Nicolas' hand did not move off Lestat's chest where that poor little heart beat it's little marching song. Even he was victim to Lestat's beautify and naive positivity...he could admit that. "Lestat? Do you promise that you are not prostituting yourself just to afford this dinner out?" Nicolas asked as many artists had resorted to selling their bodies to subsidise meagre wages and please, not him. He was the one little ray of sunshine that did not deserve to be trampled on by greedy hands.

"I shall not question you further but swear to me you are not peddling yourself like Marcelle" Another boy from the theatre that resorted to selling his hair to a wigmaker and then when that money ran out to peddling himself to lonely deprived men.

"there's a first time for everything nicki." he simply says, lestat knew why nicki thought this and his eyes he's just that child in the past who stutters. with the wage they got he was able to get them a warm meal and a pint of cider from down the street, however there were other things lestat kept a secret which he will not utter now for various reasons and this is trust, nicki did not one hundred percent. they starved most days and on a very good day, they didn't. eating the same soup, least on lestat's side he didn't enjoy it. like his job as an actor, he acted his love and enjoyment for cabbage soup. for now that part of the young blond will remain just a secret.

"no need to go through the trouble, in due time you will know." there is a truth within secrets untold, yet would nicki take it well? would he hate him? so many questions that needed answers of reassurance. to his eyes they weren't in the luxuries to spend their wages on food and wine. all he wanted was one night. "we have a bed, warm sheets perhaps not to your liking but it keeps us warm." the not so cozy looking room was not great with keeping out the cold out, but that had a small fire place that gave the place a peaceful glow. a smile had graced his features when nicki agreed, though against his wishes - it was the thought that counted.

"than never say no, to me, maybe others. never me mon cher." pulling the lapele of his button shirt, smoothing the wrinkles over broad shoulders. then another thought slipped past warm tempting lips. hand lightly giving nicki's chest a few pats. "i promise." pale fingers settled under his chin, gazing into his eyes in deep love and fascination because nicki represented that, a love too great and too deep. and the fascination came from the way he held his violin, playing each note so beautifully.

"i .. swear. but you, please do put your trust in me for once."

maybe this is something that they could look back on and call it a romantic moment. and she can't deny, there's something beautifully electric about the way that he was able to HANDLE himself. capable, and despite how he was cracking terrible jokes... she was happy he had the energy to him to be able to do it. "i always consider how it could be worse. and what's a little bloodshed?" her hands carefully applying pressure against the wounds he had, and he's leaning in closer, closer, ready to claim her lips for his own in a surprise move that left her still, tongue left lapping at her lower lip, grinning slyly at his suggestion.

"concentrate on keeping yourself alive. and then we'll talk about what i do or don't like. maybe while i'm wearing that little number for you." now, doesn't that sound like a whole deal to be had? her gaze met his for a brief moment, the car having taken it's toll from the gunfight that had burst between the vehicles. they brace within, and he, perhaps more surprisingly, tried to shield her in this which almost had her pushing away, startled. "now isn't the time to play a gentleman when you're falling apart." she drawled, a look exchanged in his direction. does she get it? does she not? it's almost impossible to tell with that slow blink he gets in return, as ada leaned towards the front. "now that we've lost the heat... do you think you can drop us off so we can tend to the man DYING in your back seat?"

preferably... her place. it's one of the TEMPORARY SPACES that she'd inhabit for periods of time, a safe place away from it all, something built to benefit her inability to commit to a city thanks to her contract work. she fed the address up to the front, and soon, they're dropped off at the back of what looks like a mid-luxury condominium, ada swiping a card to give them access to an elevator. "before you get carried away, let me actually make sure you don't die. unless you'd rather i call a vet." the hospital was so obviously out of the question.

things could've been worse but they were unscathed, least she was. the adrenaline surely helped not feeling the brutal pain of his injuries. this was by far the best moment he's ever had, clearly enough even ada could see it. the jokes were just the star of the night, he made her laugh, even made her smile. a few things he thought some weren't able to accomplish, went as far as to kiss her, a reward worth in the end. "i don't mind a little bloodshed if you're included." he says, a grin pulling at the corner. the kiss could have healing properties, he might just steal another.

"you can enlighten me on that while you heal me." wincing every now and then she she applied pressure to his lacerations, staining her hands even more with his blood. "i'm sure you are going along with my shenanigans, but who knows right. a guy could dream." releasing a chuckle, keeping his gaze on her. if he died tonight at least he'd see her beauty one last time. and so he did what anyone would do in his state, protect the other person, ada. koji brought a bloody finger to his lips, staring straight into her eyes. "now is not the time for complaints, just accept the saving. at least one of us has to." with the choas now over, the silence felt refreshing.

koji heard ada speak with their driver. in his delirious state of mind, he heard or saw her give an address - city lights passed by, a tall luxury building appeared in view, he kept his breathing steady, falling in and out of sleep not a good sign. koji had lost a good amount of blood by now. feeling the car stop, ada's voice seemed distant at times. "trying to tranquilize me already, rude." he said obviously joking, raising a bloody hand he reached for his phone, dialing the numbers to one of his staff, a doctor he's known for awhile, pinging the location soon after. "got someone coming over, then you can play nurse." giving ada a wink before being helped out the car, and making their way up to her place. his back met a soft mattress with comfortable bed sheets. reaching for ada in case she decided to leave, he grabbed her hand. "stay, i promise no more flirty jokes."
