Our experience in the physical world is an impermanent blip in eternity. It’s like a blink in the eye of eternity. It’s a pattern of behavior of the awareness. Therefore we don’t have a permanent identity. You don’t have the same identity you had as a baby, or as a child, or as a teenager, adolescent. Now, tomorrow is a different identity. So which one is real? Well, none of them. The only identity that’s real is the awareness that gives rise to the multiple identities. So we are like great Shakespearean actors. It’s our destiny to play an infinity of roles. But we are not the roles we play. We are the awareness in which the roles come and go."
