Hey everyone! My family and I are in a rough spot right now; our only vehicle is in need of a few repairs to pass inspection. This vehicle gets us to much-needed doctor’s appointments and trips to the pharmacy; my stepfather is disabled with spinal damage and can no longer walk; my mother is a diabetic and is also being treated with another medication that she must have daily; I’m being treated for several mental health issues and ovarian cysts that need to be monitored closely. We are just barely scraping by with our necessities, and this is going to put us in a hole big time. While I know this most likely won’t cover the entirety of the repairs, I’m trying to help in any way I can, so I’m going to be selling a few things that I would very much appreciate being sold within the next two weeks from now (September 5, 2019). this is probably rlly specific but like... does anyone else ever get unbearably embarrassed about searching for content for something they're really invested in and intentionally make things harder for yourself by trying to find it without actually searching or asking for it directly so that you don't have to acknowledge to yourself that you want to see it or is it just me

OH MAN. I need to vent. And the people involved know my KH blog, which is where I’ve been hanging out.
So I moved out. Moved out of Colorado entirely and now live in GA. While I’m not happy about the political climate here, living at home was just fucking bad. Anyway. I moved in with a couple who I had met through Kingdom Hearts. One of them has bipolar like me. We initially thought that maybe we would have some friction because we both have bipolar type one with psychotic features. Nope. We’re both pretty chill and we live well together. And their girlfriend is super sweet. Basically we all get along really well. We’re all adults. We’re chill. Read more because shit’s gonna get long.
Alright, so. The boyfriend moves in. This started a fucking week ago, when he got here. He seemed pretty chill the few times I talked to him, and I figured no problem at all. But things started cropping up really fucking fast. I mean, a week is super fucking fast for problems to come up. Like in any case, you want to make a good impression on a roommate. That’s what I thought, at least. When he got here, I had a sinking feeling in my stomach, but I ignored it because it’s not fair to make a snap judgement on someone. He had been pretty nice when we talked.
It started the first night. Literally the first fucking night he was here. I’m not going to talk about all the shit that happened to my friends because that’s their business. But let me just say it was bad. My friends asked me for a meeting with them, because apparently things were worse than I thought. We had a discussion about what was going on.
One thing that really struck me was something the boyfriend said to me about the apartment. Now, the apartment is lived in. Not a museum level of clean, but it’s fine. Again, lived in. He asked if they (his SOs) were clean people, and if it stays clean. I just kind of looked at him. Telling him that yes, they were clean. But it didn’t seem like enough for him? It seemed really fucking rude. He insisted on cleaning out the pantry, which yeah, doing that every once in a while is a good idea.
Got shit sorted, which was nice. What he ended up doing was handing me a tub of stuff and kind of just came into my room. My room is also a room with collectible items. It’s nice, and really cool. He walked around, looking at everything and then went towards the closet and my bathroom. I get wanting to see everything, but it felt uncomfortable. He left.
Okay, back to discussion. I let my friends know what he said about the cleaning stuff, and I guess the boyfriend talked about coming into my room and cleaning and organizing. Which is just no? It’s not his room, nor his apartment. The SOs were here first, and honestly, when you move in with someone you have to adjust.
We all made compromises. My friends watch stuff at night. I adjusted my sleep schedule because I wanted to spend time with them. The boyfriend pretty much refused to do that. Like, don’t you want to hang out with your SOs? You were long distance, you’re seeing them, do shit together! It pissed me off, but I just kind of was like whatever. Another thing was making all of us feel like shit about something very important to us. Like, the thing is when you live with others, you make compromises. Try to be a good roommate.
He didn’t seem to have a very high emotional intelligence. We talked about things that were bothering us to him, and instead of you know, talking it out like adults, he went out to his car and basically just ignored all of us. Not really cool at all. He would post to Twitter. I’m not saying he had to talk to us, but ignoring all of us just kind of put a bad taste in my mouth.
We tell him he needs to find somewhere else to live, because obviously things weren’t working out with him. He’s gone now, but goddamn. It was just a really fucking frustrating week. One of my friends hasn’t slept in two fucking days. My other friend hasn’t really slept at all either, because NONE of us trusted him not to take something of theirs. There’s other stuff, but I’m tired, my laptop is dying, and I need sleep.
like. objectively. living in that time period would SUCK but victorian stuff is so, so, sexy. i want to be sent off to boarding school because i’m too rowdy in an attempt to make me stop embarrassing my family only to enter into a tempestuous love affair with my roommate before drowning in the grounds lake.
Jesus CHRIST. The way Blue was able to literally drop everyone onto their knees and make them double over with pain because they were feeling how much grief she has been feeling for thousands of years is horrifying.
So I am trying to get a copy of my CT scan for the pulmonary specialist on Monday, and I have gotten nowhere. I posted my frustration on Facebook.
I get a message from an ex coworker, and he's helpful because he worked for the hospital I was at. Then he fucking asks if I have a boyfriend. This dude is 15 years my senior and flirting up a storm.
I don't want to be flirted with. I just want to be alone, fucks sake.
I’ve seen several people being like “ummmmmmmmmmm nobody was mad that a cis man playing a pre op trans woman on oitnb” it was literally Laverne’s twin brother who she personally asked to do it so as not to trigger her dysphoria like do you not see how that’s an entirely different situation
So, uh, I almost died. I'm currently tethered to an oxygen machine. Multiple pulmonary embolisms including one blocking the main artery to the lungs. I am okay-ish now, still need oxygen to stay alive. Just thought I would update you guys.
