It wasn’t supposed to happen like this.

They hadn’t been together long. There were no talks about babies, no plans for a nursery, no carefully mapped-out future. They were still learning each other’s favorite foods, still discovering little things that made each other laugh.

So when those two pink lines appeared, shock was an understatement.

She stared at the test, her heart racing, her mind spinning with a thousand questions. He was just as surprised, but somehow calmer, holding her close as reality slowly sank in.

This wasn’t part of the plan.

But as the initial shock faded, something else took its place—excitement. Hope. Fear.

Because while neither of them expected this, neither of them could ignore the happiness growing inside them.

Now they’re standing at the beginning of a journey neither of them saw coming.

The question is… will this unexpected blessing bring them closer together, or will the pressure of becoming parents pull them apart?

Only time will tell.

The pain was something I didn't expect. The growing intensity of the contractions made me focus more on my breathing and every contraction meant a step closer to meeting my girls. a few hours pasted that felt like much longer a nurse arrived to check my dilation. FINALLY, I was ready to push. The nurse called the doctor to inform her that I was ready to push. I wasn't sure if i was actually hearing her because I was in so much pain that I couldn't focus on anything. As much as I tried to be in control and do what the nurses and doctor told me, my body told me something else. All I remember was screams, grunting, screaming for help which I knew the doctor and nurses where doing everything they could to help me deliver the twins as safe as they could. "ONE MORE PUSH" I heard. Oh, and I pushed for the life of me. Baby Lyric was born. I felt some relief. I only had a few seconds to look at her before it was time to push baby Octavia out. 3 pushes after Octavia arrived screaming. Both girls full of black hair. They are here. I'm a mom. 10 fingers 10 toes They are perfect.
