Ok but can we actually talk about how c!Wilbur lied about Tommy to Techno a lot during Pogtopia? Cause he actively tried to misrepresent Tommy as powerhungry to Techno and that's one of the reasons Techno is an unreliable narrator currently, because he still assumes Tommy's motivations based on what Wilbur told him.

So its not just about Tommy, either. Techno says Pogtopia betrayed him but honestly it was all Wilbur

Wilbur deliberately mislead Techno multiple times, but Techno thought they were all in on it.

I've noticed Techno viewers talking about how Pogtopia acted like they were on the side of anarchy to manipulate Techno and Tommy viewers going "That never happened???"

Actually both are half right. Pogtopia didn't act like they were aiming to just destroy the government, but Wilbur did, and he only did it with just Techno because he knew Tommy would call him on his bullshit. Techno assumed that since Wilbur was the leader he was speaking for all of Pogtopia which is a fair assumption to make, but that wasn't the case.

Wilbur also goes out of his way pit Tommy and Techno against eachother, (Like when he acted like Tommy was fighting Techno in the pit and Wilbur kept acting like Tommy was the one who wanted the fight even though that's clearly not true, he was angry but he clearly said he just wanted to talk it out)

He also made it seem like Tommy wabted to be president which is just... blatantly not true, Tommy never wanted to be president, but a lot of characters believed that he did because Wilbur acted like he did.

Also that thing about Tommy making Tubbo president?

Techno believes this too, most people remember his "I didn't spend time planning this revolution, giving you guys great just for you to replace one tyrant with another" line, but they don't remember how that line ends "You took power for yourself, well then you gave it to your friend but it's still the same" (sorta paraphrasing here btw, I Don't remember the exact wording of the non bolded stuff)

TLDR: Pogtopia didn't betray Techno, Wilbur did. If you only watch Techno's perspective you won't know that.

I want to talk about that statement because gosh its so true so often like:

If you hadn't watched Tommys exile, Tommy was just a nuisance to techno

If you didn't watch Jack, Tubbo, Quackity or Tommy on Doomsday you wouldn't know how they all apologized to one another and regretted their actions

If you only watch Techno you wouldn't know why L'manburg was founded and how it was more then just about brewing drugs

This can also be applied to if you only learned about L'manburg through what others said and not by what actually happened. Heck even characters like Hbomb and Ranboo are like this at times.

As a whole, the reason I so actively defend some characters against others is because if you only watched one POV you often wildly misinterpret their characters.
