📢 Toothless Talks: Donations & Commissions!
Link for Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/envis So first, let me preface why this situation (requesting donations to redo TT) has come to be. This last October we were supposed to manage a move, but our landlord gave us an early gift in letting us stay another 2 years. However, this raised our rent and has left bills overdue and cash for things like soap and cleaning supplies unavailable to us. We’re very thankful to still have a roof over our heads, and we didn’t mind losing a few non-essential bills (TV, ect) to keep it that way. In light of this situation, both myself and my sister have started taking commissions in an attempt to earn money for our bills and essential store items. I’m able to do art (traditional or digital) and video requests, as well as Toothless Talks, of course.My sister is more fine-tuned in art, however, so here’s her Ko-Fi. Please give her a visit if you have interest in art; she’s much better than me. lol https://ko-fi.com/rezawilde Now, onto my specifics. Toothless Talks was a series I did not expect to become as popular as it did. I was shocked when my channel blew up after TT; THW. I never thought a fun little parody would get so much love. When TT; THW was blocked, I couldn’t get myself to re-do it as I was a bit disheartened. I still love the series, but doing it purely as a hobby is no longer an option. That being said, I’ve opened a donation pool on my Ko-Fi page. If the goal is reached, I will remake part 1 of TT; THW. From then on, I will open a new goal for the subsequent episodes. The next donation pool will be much smaller than what is currently set. The current goal is primarily because I don’t want to put effort into these videos unless I know I can help my family consistently with the remakes before I spend effort on this. I re-colored Azelf, the Willpower Pokemon, to make her match an OC. She’s a survivor with strong willpower, so I thought this fit perfectly. My first time re-coloring something - and I had a blast! I might do more pokemon/characters after this. lol I obviously don’t own Azelf, I just edited the official art to have some fun. Felt that needed to be said.

Pokemon S/V Theory: Preservation VS Innovation
So there are tons of rumors, leaks, and riddles going around about Pokemon S/V. After looking into the “Regional Fakes” idea, I have a theory of my own. Obviously Koraidon and Miraidon are very similar if not outright the same species, but I don’t think evolution played a part here. My conclusion to this is in Scarlet you team up with Sada, who aims to preserve Pokemon, be they fossils, rare, or just a lineage in danger. However, in Violet, you team up with Turo, who’s goal is to innovate new ways to use pokemon as partners in a more… extreme manner. Pokemon have always been used as allies in work environments, but I think he’d want to take it to the next level and “fix” any of their weaknesses to make them able to work longer and be more efficient. This would explain why Miraidon is almost entirely mechanical. It’s the “improved” Koraidon who may not tire and is smarter than what it is based on/copied from. It’s just a theory (a GAME theory) but I really like the idea of the professors being enemies in how they see Pokemon, one seeing them as brilliant, amazing creatures and one who sees them as potential assets.
