turns out they were just thinking about how these two kids at school were really mean to them, and those two happened to be darker skinned.

this person apparently ‘overthinks everything’ and immediately goes to the worst thing possible.

they wouldn’t even tell me what thoughts they were talking about, but for context this is a very nice and well-meaning person (and brutally honest) so I don’t think they were ACTUALLY having ‘racist thoughts’

when I got asked that question I kind of just looked at them like
