Those articles also blame millennial and gen z kids for not know but bitch who is running the curriculum in schools? Who is making the text books?
Yeah, just work full time on top of a full gamut of classes and manage to pay back 8-10,000+ every semester while managing to pay for housing costs.
Or you can forego housing costs by upping by another 5k+ a semester, which is just as impossible.

The job I used to have is the only one in the area that pays as high as it did, and it was only $11 an hour. Working full time, I made 750 every two weeks. That’s only 1,500 a month, if you were lucky on taxes, and if you were putting literally every single penny you made into the system.
Let’s say that you follow a schedule where you have only 2 months off each year for the summer and winter breaks between semesters. This gives a maximal amount of time per semester (and more time per semester than you’d actually have). If you were paying everything into your loans working full time at $11 an hour, you’d be paying back $6,000 a semester, which at a cheap uni without housing costs and baseline amounts of classes and none of it spent for books and the like, you’d still owe over $2k per semester.
And that’s just a cheap college where it’s only $8k a semester. I’m aware there are some that people only have access to that are way higher. Outside of Ivy league, I hear they can still be upwards to $13k and above.
THAT is why we can’t “just work our way through college”, as said by someone who is still deep in debt because I was pushed to get a college education my entire life then immediately punished for it.
This sign has been up by my house for weeks and curiosity got the better of me so i texted the number and:
