i feel like high school/middle school sitcoms set the unrealistic expectation of being able to have lunch time outside

ok because apparently i'm wrong about this, reblog with where you live and whether you got to eat lunch outside during school or not

#so my hs and ms campuses were spread out between dozens of different buildings. you couldn't go from class to class without going outside #so at lunch time it was inevitable that more than half the student body would be eating outside #also because the cafeteria wasn't that big #it was very normal to eat outside #note: this was in California where the weather was almost always nice #also a lot of teachers opened their doors during lunch so many students would eat lunch at certain classrooms if the teacher was cool

most difficult problem of writing fanfiction is when you need a character to express the particular surprised/dismayed/disappointed sentiment of going "jesus christ" but this isn't a lore friendly thing to say and there's nothing lore friendly that conveys quite the same emotion
