So in broad strokes the weird route (which I’ll be referring to as wr) in deltarune involves the soul/player using Kris to control Noelle and make her stronger. At the end of chapter 4 wr Noelle’s mother calls to tell Kris that Noelle wants to go to the festival with them. In chapter 5 we force kris out of bed and to go to the festival. We’re greeted by Susie who was told by Noelle to bring Kris to the lake. At said lake Susie leaves and Noelle goes on a rant about how she’s the only one who’s noticed that Kris has changed, and that she wants to change too and that she wants to do something crazy. Then she drags Kris into the lake with her, where they presumably kill themselves.
Now to the point of my rant. I saw a little animation earlier of Susie seeing Kris and Noelle’s bodies. Can you guess the comments? “Susie’s fault”.
EXCUSE ME. the fact that she left Kris and Noelle alone to talk without her means that it is HER FAULT HER ONLY FRIENDS ARE DEAD.
It’s not Susie’s fault. It’s YOURS. The PLAYER. YOU could’ve aborted the weird route at ANY goddamn time. it’s not SUSIE’S. Stop shifting the blame for YOUR actions.
Am I taking this too seriously? Mayhaps. Do I care? Not really
