A bust covered in hand painted underglaze tattoos emulating the blue and white pottery style.

All of the tattoos have specific meanings:

The crest in the center of the ribs is my family's crest

The dogs chasing the sun are my dog Mazie!

The lavender on the collar is because I grew up on a lavender farm, and the bee in the center is because growing up my neighbour was a beekeeper

The clouds are auspicious clouds

The foxgloves on the ribs are my father's favourite flower

The angel was designed by @little-sw33tie ! The wings are hummingbird, pigeon, and seagull wings

The fleece hanging from the angel is taken from a woodcut of the Coat of Arms of Ferdinand I by Albrecht Dürer

I'm extremely proud of this piece! I wanted to combine the old with the modern, the classic look of a bust and blue and white pottery with tattoos and a realistic body type. It has violin hips and cellulite! Perfectly normal and beautiful things!
