Mating Bonds?

This might be a minor detail that I’m looking too far into with no merit.. but in ACOMAF when Feyre and Rhysand are in the inn, Rhysand doesn’t hand Feyre the food he brings up. He puts it on the bed. Would handing her the food have sealed the mating bond? It’s confirmed that a female offering her mate food means the female accepts the mating bond but I don’t know that it touched on it the other way around. And if so, Rhysand intentionally did NOT offer Feyre the food because he’s just too damn good for this world and didn’t want to lock her into something she didn’t know about yet. And if that is indeed the case, Rhys is just too perfect and caring and it kills me.

I know Rhys gets SOME bad blood from some people for not telling her right away but I personally believe he was just trying to do the right thing. He didn’t want to rush her into a mating bond. She needed time to heal her heart. It’s admirable really. Imaging having to control yourself for 5??? Months?? When your mate, your soul bonded partner is literally breathing because you saved their life, letting your mate live with the one she loves with you silently pine and try to let her live her life and tell yourself she’s happy? If that is not the definition of perfection and patience or even admirable, I don’t know what is.

ToG6 title theory - Kingdom of Ashes

The first part of all the names are related to…kings? Monarchy..? Throne,crown,heir,queen and empire. What else is left here? Kingdom, king(but king is unlikely and Aelin is the protagonist here) ruins?

Now, coming to the second half of the names, Glass,midnight,fire,shadows and storms. Here there isn’t really a pattern but I think ashes and ice could be fitting.

Hence, KINGDOM OF ASHES.

SJM and 50 Shades of Grey.

NOTE- This is just a keen observation of mine. It might even be common knowledge but I just found a few similarities. There are more than these but these are a few that I can think of at the time being. I have a solid theory that SJM has read 50 Shades. There's so much in common between both the works. The characters has some shared traits too. Rhys has some traits that could have been adopted from Christian. Some of them are 1. The fact that Rhys cares so much about feyre's diet. And notices when she loses weight and insists that she eat. 2. High Lady and High Lord

So we know that the High Lords power gets transferred to the most worthy child they have, but what will happen with a High Lord and a High Lady? What if only one of them dies? Will the power wait for the other one to die before going to their children? Will the power be taken from the person who is still alive? will two of their kids get the power? If so how will they decide who gets to rule the Court? Please help I can’t figure it out
