Their Fear status is one of the topics in Long Way Home that could get a whole fic dedicated to it, but due to the nature of being just one part of a 24-year-spanning story, I'm trying to limit myself so I don't get bogged down with the details and lost in just how much I could do. Because it's a lot! They're eldritch conduits altered from human states to better align with their immaterial patrons, now dropped in fully human bodies! That discordance is gonna cause some problems! More so for Annabelle than Martin, and both in different ways! The possibilities are so interesting

What I might do eventually maybe is have LWH be linear and chronological, and then a oneshot collection on the side for scenes I think of later that take place between chapters or requests to revisit something. Mayhap even a joke or two
