On November 15th 1966, two young couples went for a joyride to a remote spot north of Point Pleasant, WV, known as the TNT Area. There, they saw a large, winged man-like figure with glowing red eyes. Terrified, they turned the car around and fled, only to have the creature follow.
Despite reaching speeds of up to 100 mph, it kept with them, only disappearing as the couples reached Point Pleasant.
I did this back in June of 2019, as you can read. It had been a while since I drew one of these things, and I had a new sketchbook with a different page texture altogether, and this was the first sketch I did on there.
I’m not going to write about these things and what they represent anytime soon, but I do encourage my readers to search up “Wendigo psychosis,” a very real phenomenon that — to sum it up — is when someone believes they are possessed by a Windigo spirit.
So after a long hiatus I actually remembered I owed something; apparently I completely forgot about the folder I was going to upload with some of my better off writes that may or may have not been posted here.
Also, expect something next month; hopefully this one I can actually release on time. I hope everyone is safe out there right now; I don’t want to beat around the bush, but please make sure you take care of yourself right now.
Point Pleasant, West Virginia, has recently become home to a tiny storefront museum dedicated to the legend of Mothman, the cryptid that plagues the north-east of the United States, namely Point Pleasant itself. The town became famous in the 1960s for its multitude of Mothman sightings. It is the only known collection that is publicly dedicated to the creature. There is also a yearly festival dedicated to Mothman, operated by the same man who runs the museum.
Howdy folks, its been a hot minute hasn’t it? I’ve noticed that the state of this blog has diminished by a landslide. I have good news and bad news to go with this, so please bear with me.
The Bad News
Considering this next project, and the piling workload of a senior year, I personally believe (and take this with a grain of salt) I will only be able to post a write every two months. The amount of time I had put behind my previous project tells me that I need to spend some more time doing this stuff.
The Good News
I think we all wanna know what I’m up, right? Well, I won’t bore ya with the details. I’ve never done a write on it, and I am excited to announce
That this one will be a Two to Three part write.
As I will do from now on, when I reveal a project, I will release a snippet of a visual / drawing for that project; mind you I said a, not all of them.
Let’s get on with it, shall we? Try to take a hot guess. What is this thing?
Closer
As mentioned before, I do not know how long I’ll be active at this point, nor how much filler I can throw in before I really start to hit my peak productivity at this point. I really want to deliver these writes to you guys, and maybe connect people together. Mind you I said maybe.
Also, soon I will be opening up a Google Drive Folder with all of my previous “works” for those to publicly view.
Thank you all for your patience, if you haven’t forgotten about me!
Generally speaking, I will be inactive on this blog for a while; though I will be on my other blog a little more. For now, I am swapping main blogs. See you soon!
As plentiful the modern story of ‘winged monster’ is to come across in paranormal circles and sites documenting these tales in journalistic styles, there are still many one must dig around local archives and internet sites to discover, especially in the case of larger than life gargoyles. Not many stories of these ‘beings’ exist within the depths of folklore, but one seems to stand out amongst the menagerie; but even the most avid researcher may not even know about this one.
Fortean Author Nick Redfern often wrote about the many conspiracies that plagued the NASA program, and eventually released a work titled “The NASA Conspiracies: The Truth Behind the Moon Landings, Censored Photos, and The Face on Mars.” Released on December 20th, 2010, it had explained many curious events, such as staged photos of the Moon Landing,an odd geological formation that resembled a face, and many other oddities; if one were to look in Chapter 13, they would find that Nick Redfern had included an unfamiliar account that was told to him around the early 2000’s (Exact date seems to be unknown from research) by a deceased man’s daughter, Desiree Shaw.
Desiree Shaw’s father, Frank Shaw had encountered something at the Houston Space Center in the late 1980’s, where he had in fact worked on late nights as an archivist. Quite a few remarkable claims were also stated by Desiree as well, as she had claimed that two “security officers” had allegedly flown in to“interrogate” Shaw on what he had allegedly seen. The thing Shaw had claimed to see was something akin to a gargoyle. Details provided by her father were met with distraught directly after the ‘sighting.’ It goes something like this:
Frank Shaw had recently finished his shift, and was apt. to be late to srrive home. He had shuffled into his coat and had made for the parking lot. He seemed to have taken note of the heavy winds at the time, so it was quite chilly. As he was walking toward his vehicle, he had an inexplicable sense to look over his shoulder, and what he saw was less than pleasant. He claimed to his daughter that there was something big perched upon one of the facility buildings, not too far from his vehicle.
Frank described the creature as an imposing humanoid that watched him intently, with two large, bat-like wings and, en-quote, “A large cape draped over its shoulders and back.”
As he looked in terror at the sight, he claimed that he could sense something emanating from the creature, like some sort of malevolence, as if the creature had wanted him to see it. Just then, it had unfurled its wings in a loud cracking sound, and began to take flight. It was almost as if it enjoyed the attention it received.
The bones cracking had alerted Shaw’s primal instinct to run, and he immediately scrambled to drive away from the horrific sight. He didn’t even bother to look in his rear view mirror. His family had took note of his distraught when he came through the door. It was typical for him to be late, but not like this. He then had conceived an idea; he would tell the superior about his encounter the next day, but his family decided against it altogether.. Though he did weeks later without issue. He claims that his superior had shown him other reports of the creature in secret, and had also told him of the reason why the case was opened: it was the mutilation and exsanguination of two patrol dogs that had worked around the building.
It wasn’t until a day or so later that he was interrogated by, en-quote from Desiree herself, “NASA security people who were flown in from somewhere in Arizona… that much I know.”
The officers gave Shaw a strict warning that he would not tell this same story to anybody else; but it would prove futile after Shaw’s passing.
As fascinating as the encounter is to any person intrigued by the notion of winged monsters, it seems to have become quite a enigma within the online circles of paranormal interest. As fairly unknown as the story is, those who have read material on it can often find themselves much, much more intrigued by the notion of a gargoyle creature and the mutilation of two patrol dogs; though in anyone’s case, you cannot blame them for contemplating such an instance. Many ask, what truly happened?

So, happy new year everyone! It’s so good to finally get posting on here again; and in fact, I’ve been a little better nowadays. If anyone didn’t know, I was plagued by a block and a PC dysfunction these few months, and I couldn’t properly format my proses and whatnot, leaving me stuck and discouraged to do anything; but now I’m returning because of a few factors.
Second Semester of HS is running ever more smoothly than last time; I’ve been able to get back on track and I can now move at the intended pace. I’ve also finally decided to use my backup PC because I was sick and tired of sitting around and waiting for my main pc to buffer. I typically don’t use the backup but now it’s time for it to do its job.
And, last but not least, I have a special guest, my own daughter will now be introduced to you all!
For explanation, I have been stuck in immeasurable length of time whereas I was plagued with Art and Writers block. It was mostly due to sudden resurgence of swamping schoolwork and stress.
Now, it may seem that I may be able to finally jump forward. I may be posting new content soon enough; one coming up several days from now.
So, this was a short update for those curious about my current whereabouts. Thank you for sticking around.

The evening of the eleventh of October, 1973 was quite an eventful one for Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker; much less one that would shift their lives from normal to simply... bizarre.
You see, that night was different for the two men; In the evening they would visit a little pier in an abandoned shipyard. Throwing their bait in, they sat there, gloating about the usual talk in town, memories of their childhood, and all the women they had dated up to their point in their life.
Around nightfall, as Charles was looking for another spot to throw his line into, he immediately noticed something a whiles away from them; a large, football shaped orb of light, shining a translucent blue.
Witnessing the object, he immediately nudged Calvin, who was also gazing at the sight of the object. They were dumbfounded, just as anyone would be; an extremely bright light in the middle of the Pascagoula River?
The object buzzed across the river, and stopped immediately in front of the pier that the two dumbfounded men were resting upon. In the middle of the now assumed craft, bright lights emerged; something was opening.
Three beings then levitated out of the entrance, arms outstretched. All of them looked identical to each other, a mummified, near stiff looking body shape with fused legs, no eyes whatsoever, three horns, all in place of a nose and pair of ears, something truly alien to these men.
Something they would get to see up close, and personal . . .
