Sloane has always been mindful to take great care of her body and health - physical, mental, emotional. Six months in Silver Creek that are filled with seemingly endless nights of working closing shifts at the bar don’t offer her much of a reprieve, but she always finds the time to get a workout in. Whether its crossfit, martial arts, or hockey on the weekends, the stress relief and endorphin rush she gets from overworking her body to near exhaustion is only comparable to one other thing. But she’s unpartnered at the moment, so working out will have to do. Today, it’s a mix of crossfit and martial arts - something she took up from an old hockey buddy back in Toronto - stick-fighting, in particular. Surprisingly effective. “You’d be surprised what kind of ass-whooping I can give someone with these,” she says with a slight laugh, “but genetics pushed me to the wrong end of the spectrum, I guess.” Submissive or not, Sloane’s body is as strong as it can be for being as petite as she is. Tiny but mighty indeed.
