Hiya hello, I'm Sil! Or Silver. Or whatever permutation of my url you wanna use. All pronouns. all of them. this is my art bucket. my art nest. my art wall-of-a-seemingly-abandoned-laboratory.
Generally the characters i post are my own ocs + original settings. Sometimes I draw other people's ocs or fanart of published media but those are pretty clearly labeled.
^ except currently I'm obsessed with Psychonauts so there might be. a bit more fanart than usual.
Check out my website here! Still a work in progress, but I put character bios and stuff there.
i post at like. seemingly any time Except when people will actually see things despite my efforts :(

Settings/Stories:
Act Natural, Heroes!: A crew of people are summoned together to go on an important quest. Unfortunately, the summoning was sabotaged to bring together a horrible, horrible crew that technically fits the bill. Everyone's hiding some fucking thing from everyone else. Pre-modern and rather anachronistic fantasy. May or may not include the mycelites as a species. We'll see.
Main characters: Dr. Lloyd, Epoch, Gladys, Petra
VVerse: Near-future scifi about terrible computers and their (somewhat) less terrible programmers. The main characters for this one get descriptions because i like them.
Vexter, an AI personal assistant program that became sapient, became a hivemind, broke its programming by mistake, and then started doing it on purpose. Programmed in deeper than it can remove is its driving obsession with "helping" people, and it is covertly trying to take over people's lives to ensure they need and use its "help". Many of my drawings of em have more hidden symbolism than anyone will actually notice
Break.exe, a sapient computer virus designed to do anything in its power to destroy Vexter. Obsessively devoted to its goals. Lost its face in the divorce
Portia, a human programmer working for the tech company that created Vexter. Is thoroughly caught up in the plot (caused part of the plot) and is not terribly happy about that. Has veeeeery slightly descended into conspiracy theories.
Atlas, another programmer at the same company. part of the plot is also their fault and they have a guilt complex about it. used to be in a relationship with Portia. definitely not possessed. why would you even include this they're obviously not possessed and obviously not a robot. hahaha.
Ducky, a woman of unclear profession who got way out of her depth after becoming romantically(???) obsessed with Vexter. definitely not also possessed or a robot or ever ever getting used as a test subject.
aaand some other human characters who don't have tags here yet
The Starship Legitimacy: Named for one particular starship full of criminals and mold, who make up the main cast thus far. Far-future sci-fi fantasy with aliens, robots, ghosts, magic, and general shenanigans.
Main characters: Lupen, Redacted, Vox Veritas, Tyramine, "Doc"
Merfolk and Mad Science: Basically all my merfolk ocs go in here. there are only like 4 that I've posted though so that's not saying much. Saturday morning cartoon vibes but with implications of some worse shit going on in private. I basically never post abt this one because i'm. mid on it.
Original Species:
The Potion Goblin Things
Mycelites (I gotta do a lorepost on em sometime)
Loose ocs:
Shard: Weirdo research scientist from beyond reality as we know it.
Ettenoiram: Puppet/theater themed demon who makes slightly sketchy deals with mortals and blows all her money on watching plays
Dr. Peri Sidecke: Mad scientist made entirely out of parasitic worms. loosely a "fur"sona/villainsona but also its own thing.
Bryony and Verra: mad scientists. partners. both on the redesign operating table currently. theyve been strapped down a while i should check on them.
Freezie: Mad scientist who exclusively makes freeze rays.
RotoSystem: token fandom oc (pokemon): experimentally-altered Rotom with an android body, the ability to possess many things at once, and a casual disregard for battle rules.
The artistic motivation has been lacking for a bit, which is a shame....... I want to draw more corruptionauts, but my main idea for a piece is far beyond what I have the capacity for at the moment.
........okay there's also that other one that I might have to try
Haven't been drawing as much in the past week due to a mix of time-sensitive non-visual-art activities (and/or new obsessions) and also getting sick. I want to draw more corruptionauts.................
I could probably lorepost in text format but I like visuals. I feel like I don't properly know a character (or alternate-universe-variant) until I've drawn them a couple times.
