Avidius not being playable is such a tragedy cuz he is literally the prettiest man ever and has a sad story with a lot of potential for development.

His entire past was artificially constructed by a malicious hand, but imagine if he got to achieve true heroic feats, or otherwise build a life of his own. It wouldn't have been that different from Cartethyia's rejection of her destiny of becoming Leviathan's puppet and becoming a wandering knight instead. Plz Kuro petition for Avidius to be a 4-star.

never have i encountered such a well-written NPC character... the fact that Avidius is still relevant in the community speaks volumes of his potential. truly, he's one of the heroes of heroes in my heart <3

hopefully someday, we might get more out of his character. but for now, let this fallen warrior rest on the shores of glory.

i still can't get over durin's story quest even up to now! his whole interactions with albedo & scara 'hat guy' mouche is definitely one of the strongest bonds in genshin by far... the longing for social connections with this tiny dragon never ceases to make me feel motherly about this child.
