Hello! You will mostly see Warriors content here, but I do dabble in other fandoms. Please no hate or stealing my work. All art can be reblogged with credit, and don't put any in edits. Check out my YT channel under the same name!
Welcome to my channel! I hope you like what I post here (and if not that's ok too, just no hate please)
Just here to say that all of my warriors designs are free to use for fanart or animation, just PLEASE do not claim it as your own. I'd love to see what you make, so feel free to tag me in it!
(The only exception to this rule is compilations. I dislike the idea of people using other peoples' artworks/animations in compilations, often without proper credit. I see it most often in Warriors content, and I do not wish to be a part of that. Even if you do promise to give credit, I will still refuse. Thank you for understanding.)
Also side note there will be spoilers for the Warriors series untagged until the current arc & any new side books. You have been warned!
Since I posted Cloudberry last (and my AU), I why not post Ryewhisker? Since Cloudberry and Ryewhisker are really the only ones named and have a significant role, I’m probably going to only draw them from the story. I might do Emberstar since he is related to Cloudberry, but that’s it. I won’t be drawing their kits, since we don’t know if they lived. Anyways, Ryewhisker always seemed to stand out to me, despite there being way more significant half-clan relationships in Warriors. Maybe it was his boundless optimism of their kits that eventually led to his downfall. Seeing a spirit crushed like that is tragic, yet somewhat intriguing in a story. I designed him to look like a hopeful puppy dog, with wide eyes and happy posture, before the storm. Kinda reminds me of Stripestar in StormClan’s Folly: full of hope, yet immediately crushed. Maybe Stripestar is Ryewhisker 2.0 lol.
Cloudberry (more info under the cut): Lots of text below!
So today is a very special day: it is my birthday!! So to celebrate, I’m posting one of my Warriors headcannons for this character. In the books, Cloudberry is the name for 2 different cats from 2 different stories. One is a dark gray RiverClan warrior with blue eyes who has kits with a WindClan cat named Ryewhisker in Code of the Clans, eventually establishing the rule against cross-clan relationships. Another one is a white ThunderClan medicine cat with yellow eyes who trains Goosekit after Ravenwing dies in Goosefeather’s Curse. My headcannon is: what if they are the same cat?
Connecting the two stories, Cloudberry is a newly named RiverClan warrior who serves under her father Emberstar. She and Ryewhisker have kits but are worried that they are half-clan. In a battle between RiverClan and WindClan Ryewhisker prevents Cloudberry from being killed but dies instead. Due to this incident the code is made. Cloudberry has the kits and raises them in RiverClan, but she still thinks about the battle that killed her mate. Sometime during this Emberstar is replaced by Volestar. When Cloudberry’s kits are apprentices, she asks Volestar to become a medicine cat instead, much like Mudfur. She chooses now so she doesn't have to disappoint her dad in her eyes. Years later she becomes a competent medicine cat. Suddenly, the ThunderClan medicine cat Ravenwing is killed by Mapleshade, so Cloudberry is asked to join ThunderClan as their new medicine cat. While her kits, now warriors, are devastated, Cloudberry accepts the role, wanting a change of pace since she is still haunted by Ryewhisker. She trains Goosekit into Goosefeather and lives the rest of her life in ThunderClan, seeing Ryewhisker in StarClan.
There are some issues with this headcannon, such as the appearance of Cloudberry, background characters, and timeline, but I’ve made some counterpoints:
1) Appearance: Cloudberry is a vitiligo cat in this headcannon. Vitiligo is a skin condition that causes the pigment in skin to become lighter as one gets older. This is why her design in the picture is the exact opposite of each other. This can happen to people and cats, and while it is rare, Warriors doesn’t really care about cat genetics. I mean look at all the male tortoiseshell cats. And just imagine the eyes change color as well, eye color isn’t consistent in Warriors either. I tried to add both colors in the cat, and it just changes over time.
2) Background characters: While we don’t see the same cats repeat from both stories, Code of the Clans doesn’t mention ThunderClan, and Goosefeather’s Curse doesn’t mention RiverClan. All that is mentioned is leaders and maybe medicine cats, and you can just say they died quick or something. As for her kits, since they are never mentioned again they can 1) accept that their mother left them, 2) Cloudberry was not a good mother to them so they didn’t care, or 3) they died young, pushing Cloudberry to move to ThunderClan more. Any idea can work.
3) Timeline: While it does seem like a huge time gap, Cloudberry is very old by the time of Goosefeather’s Curse, so it is likely that she could have lived long enough through this. The current timeline of Warriors has a huge gap between Dawn of the Clans, making the code, StormClan’s Folly (and SkyClan leaving), and Mapleshade’s Vengeance. We don’t even know when making the code took place and how far apart it was made, so it is possible for a cat to be alive during this time if they were young at the start.
So TL;DR: Cloudberry is a warrior of RiverClan, has half-clan kits with Ryewhisker of WindClan, Ryewhisker dies, she becomes a medicine cat, moves to ThunderClan, and trains Goosefeather. Two cats becoming the same cat.
And why did I make this headcannon? Because I can and it’s fun. I like making complex stories for background characters because they most likely won’t get ruined by cannon. I hope you enjoyed this headcannon, and enjoy Cloudberry!
Imma put Dandelionkit & Juniperkit in the same post since they’re pretty minor characters. This means I’ll be skipping the next posting date, one cat per date! Even though Squirrelstar’s kits barely had time to live before they died, I still like to give them designs since they’re mentioned and shown in StarClan. I tried to make the kits as closely resembled their name as possible, since they unfortunately didn’t get much personality, for example I gave Juniperkit purple eyes. I gave Dandelionkit as much fluff to resemble Squirrelstar and Lionblaze, and I made Juniperkit brown like Brambleclaw. They’re both tabbies and share identical markings as well. Juniperkit is also supposed to be the smallest since I believe he died first, not sure if that's displayed here well.
And since I give kits warrior names if they had one, these two would be Dandelionbreeze and Junipertail.
Everyone forgets that Alderheart and Sparkpelt are half-siblings to the 3 due to the large time gap, but they are. Imma be honest Alderheart did not impress me when he was first introduced, mostly because him and the writers were figuring out who he was meant to be, but since then he’s grown on me. He was a kind father figure to Twigbranch, a good foil to Jayfeather in the medicine den, but also not afraid to stand up for himself. He’s just trying to do his best with the cards he was given, and I think he’s doing great.
I wanted him to look the most like Squirrelstar but with tabby patterns like his dad Brambleclaw. I haven’t designed Brambleclaw yet, but I plan to include those similar stripe markings. I also wanted Alderheart to be more red than brown since that’s a pretty unique design that’s not in other cats, and I wanted him to stand out as a main character.
I think Lionblaze gets a lot of hate throughout the series. Sure his chapters are not as interesting as Hollyleaf or Jayfeather, but he does have his good moments. I really like where in Leafpool’s funeral he says that he wishes he loved her more, it shows us that he is more emotional than he seems. I just think he gets overshadowed by his siblings, and I blame the writers for that. He is one of the first cats we learn that trains in the Dark Forest, he has powers that make fights interesting to watch, and he becomes mates with Cinderheart who is struggling with her destiny. He was annoying as acting deputy under Squirrelflight, but clearly he hated that as much as we did. Currently he does have a lot of kin in ThunderClan that are also prominent characters, so the family tree gets messy, but I like to imagine he’ll be a cool grandpa all the cats can come to in the future.
Lionblaze is described as fluffy, but I wanted to make him unique as a main character. After trial and error, I ended up adding the cheek fluffs. The red line on his body is meant to show how his back patterns look like if the cheek fluffs weren’t there, it’s not part of the design.
Say what you want, Jayfeather is my favorite character in Power of Three. He is a nice breath of fresh air when he truly questions the inner workings of StarClan. His powers give us more lore in the story and his chapters describe blindness in an intriguing way. One of the best chapters in the series is the first one in The Sight where we don’t know until the end that Jaykit is blind. He comes across as mean, but with each interaction with new characters we get to see his softer side come out. I’m glad they’re still using him in the books, I don’t think he’s going away anytime soon (I hope I did not jinx it lol).
I made Jayfeather’s eyes wide and hazy, as if his eyes are trying to let in as most light as possible. I once had a cat that was blind by injuries as a kitten and this is how her eyes looked, so I based it off of that. Looking back now these eyes are for those who can kinda see but it’s all fuzzy, and Jayfeather is completely blind, so this may not be as accurate, but Imma keep it for now until I find more research and have time for a redesign. His patterns are meant to resemble his mother Leafpool, who he is arguably the closest too, and his long body is like his dad Crowfeather, whom he shares a temper with.
If there’s anything Breezepelt cares about in Power of Three is his mom. Nightcloud gets a lot of hate by fans, but no one can doubt that she’s a caring and defensive mother. Yes she did not treat Crowfeather very well, but she was mature enough to see that they were not a good pair in the end, and decides to be a loyal WindClan warrior without holding too much of a grudge and truly hating him. She is fierce, loyal, and stubborn, but In the end she was just lonely and wanted someone to care about her. She almost didn’t come back to WindClan cause she didn’t think any cat would care about her. I’m glad she and Crowfeather are on good terms in the end, and I hope she feels needed and loved in WindClan.
Breezepelt’s design is a little outdated, but I still like it. I would just want to redraw him if I had the time tbh. His half-pelt pattern is supposed to show the different sides he was on throughout his life. From being fully committed to the Dark Forest and nearly killing Lionblaze to turning around and having a family with Heathertail, he definitely switched personalities drastically. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad thing though, I liked seeing Breezepelt redeemed in Crowfeather’s Trial. It’s also a good way to push antagonists to the side to save room for new characters instead of fully killing them. Breezepelt is probably still his prickly self, just on the right side this time.
I redrew Hollyleaf recently, so why not post her? I gave her more shape on the fluff on her face to make her more distinguishable, and I added a black pattern on her tail and ears. I think plain cats could always use more design, and with Hollyleaf being a main character I wanted her to stand out more. She also resembles her half-brother Breezepelt, since I made his pelt also half. I didn’t want to make the 3 too similar to their WindClan family since it would be too obvious they were related, but it doesn’t hurt to hint at it.
I don’t think I need to give Hollyleaf any introduction, she’s such a widely popular character, and for good reason. She’s smart, cunning, and always tries to solve problems. It’s tragic she died so soon after her arc, I think she would have been incredibly useful in the imposter Bramblestar issue. Let’s be honest, she would have solved it right away.
Featherwhisker is ThunderClan’s medicine cat under Goosefeather during Bluestar’s Prophecy. He is a foil to his mentor, often seen as the voice of reason and who cats tend to look to when Goosefeather isn’t trusted anymore. He is shown as kind and sympathetic to Goosefeather, comforting when no one else would. He’s also Sunstar’s brother, which is very glossed over despite the kinda nepotism. Happens a lot in Warriors. I kinda wish we had seen more of him. Goosefeather didn’t seem to have many friends, so it would have been nice to see him and Featherwhisker bond. I mean you can’t tell me he wasn’t named after Goose. I hinted at their relationship in one of my very first animation memes on YouTube, you should check it out. In that video his eyes are blue, but apparently they’re amber in the books. Tbh I prefer the blue.
Brightheart is an absolute sweetie. I loved reading her manga, it gave us more insight on how background warriors act. It’s good to see a bit of worldbuilding and less moment of tragedy. I think the authors did a very good job with her by showing that she is much more than her injury, and it doesn’t always matter. I wish she got an official apprentice, but like with Rainpaw I like to imagine she helped to train all the apprentices offscreen. She excelled as a partial medicine cat, I think we forget that she was one tbh. I’m so happy she’s still alive as an elder, she deserves all the love.
For her design, I actually wanted her to resemble her granddaughter Ivypool. Don’t know if you notice but both of their patterns are in the exact same spot, the only difference being Ivypool’s fully gray tail. I wish they would have bonded more, I feel like Ivypool could have used some guidance from her.
I thought I had posted Willowshine already, but turns out it was Willowbreeze. This is what happens when 2 gray cats from RiverClan have Willow in their name. I would say that’s what Willowshine was named after, but I don’t think anyone around naming her would have known about Willowbreeze.
Anyway, Willowshine was a surprisingly tragic character. I was so surprised that they ended up killing her off when going to the Dark Forest, but I knew she was going to die when she volunteered to go, since they wouldn’t have killed a main character so easily yet. Willowshine did everything good in life, from defending her mentor Mothwing when she didn’t believe in StarClan to actually enjoying her medicine cat job, which is surprisingly rare. She has also been shipped with Hollyleaf when they were appendices, but tbh she is much more than that. She had such a tragic end and I was mad when she went, but ig she left room for Frostpaw. Rip Willowshine, you should have been Frostpaw’s mentor (not saying Mothwing should die, could be like a Leafpool-Jayfeather-Alderheart situation).
Berrynose the little stinker. I think people forget that his tail was cut off, since he’s not treated like a disabled cat like others, and he’s been shown to brush his tail or put it over his shoulders, which is literally impossible. He’s not been a favorite of mine but I like to see the funny content abt him tbh. Kinda sad that he’s dead tho, especially by Tawnypelt of all things, he definitely made ThunderClan more interesting. Shellpaw kinda replaced him by being the bully since he was Bumblestripe’s apprentice, but no one else is really the defined arrogant character now. Petition to add another Berrynose lol.
Alright, I did Stemleaf, Eaglewing, Plumstone, and now Shellfur. Shellfur was actually the first of the siblings I drew, for a YouTube video I did, so his design is a bit older. I might have started designing him after reading Spotfur’s Rebellion, but I revised it more recently so it’s doesn’t look outdated. I decided to do a bigger rough design, and then a cleaner one when he was an apprentice. I’m the most proud of his checkered pattern, though that took forever to get right. And yes he has a lot of colors. He’s named as a tortie despite being a male, and this is actually the simplified version of the wiki. Overall a little stinker.
Died tragically young with his dad, Flickerkit now permanently lives in StarClan. I could have given him a StarClan design, since he dies as a newborn, but I like to think kits who die in StarClan get to grow up to be somewhat kittens. Also changing him to a StarClan design from the original is easier than the reverse in my case. I gave him freckles like his dad since freckles are the hardest to draw, and both characters are minor enough so they won’t be drawn as often. I feel like I gave Flickerkit a very young boy vibe, like “please sir, I want some more”, which is very fitting.
Larksong would be another background ThunderClan cat (siblings to Leafshade & Honeyfur), but since he’s being Nightheart’s dead dad he’s more memorable. I don’t remember much he did besides dying tragically and taking care of Flickerkit, but he’s a nice guy, so I imagine him to be sweet. I’ve designed him twice, and the 2nd time was to give him more detail. His parents are Lilyheart and Snowbush, so I tried to have him look like his dad with the freckles. He’s supposed to be a black cat but I made him more dark blue to be more interesting, and kinda like his mom. Also the pattern on his back are meant to be wings, since a lark is a bird.
