I keep thinking about that lil thing from Orufrey first meeting [Spoiler chapters 90+]

Even though they didn't know each other, even though they barely even talked, being saved by Olruggio and held in his arms was enough for the silverwood in Qifrey to react.

Qifrey found immediate comfort in Olruggio. From day one, he was the place he could find absolute rest in.

And then that's why he's immediatly cold with him at first; That unknown intrusive feeling of the silverwood taking root terrified him, even without knowing what it is.

i immediately went “QIFREY !!!!!!!”

so now i have this really specific vision of Qifrey being crazily obsessed with feeding Olruggio because it’s the only way he can show him love with all the restrictions he’s forced on himself

it starts with Qifrey being happy that Olly, despite being having such bad habits, is steadily getting chubbier, rounder, softer, and hoping Olly knows all recipes come from his deepest love for him.

but it twists as the years passes and eventually Qifrey gets turned on when Olly makes noises enjoying his food. so he starts feeling guilty of having the kids around as he has these lewd thoughts and sensations.

and that’s how the late night snacking starts. just the two of them, in the intimacy of the kitchen they built, Qifrey crafting dishes and shooting looks at Olly, memorizing each sound and the way his face lights up and changes as he bites and swallows, waiting for him to finish his dish by licking his fingers.

and then they say goodnight and Qifrey rushes to his room, flustered and heart beating heavy, recalling every little sound and expression Olly just made as he finally gets to relief himself, mixing pleasure with the guilt of using Olly in such a disgusting way without his knowledge.
