It's been a while since I've posted, but that's because I'm just playing, starting my first neighborhood! I'm really loving how it's turning out, the CCs also make it more beautiful... I'm thinking about if I manage to finish it, maybe I can try to share it or I'll send some community lots... but I confess, I'm very happy with my progress!

Sims 2 Skin Adjuster Program V2 (Create your own custom skintone!)

Hello, this is version 2 of my skin adjuster program.

Firstly, what is the "why" of this program?: If you've ever made a custom skin in the Sims 2 you know how tedious it is to do because you have to manually edit each bmp file and there are 40 bmp files for just one skin. This program aims to help in that. With this program if you want to quickly blend skins or adjust the color, saturation, etc. you can do it quickly in an instant, and the program will apply your changes to all the bmp files, no need to do it manually anymore! It's like an automated Photoshop.

If you've seen my Tumblr post on the V1 of this program, here are the the main updates that i made since then: 1. UI for the program, not command line anymore yay! 2. Teeth and eye areas of the skins are now unaffected 3. Added a color overlay feature

Disclaimer: This program only works on Windows. Also, if you use Bodyshop instead of SimPe to import or export the bmp files of the skins, there will be a slight reduce in quality, to no fault of my program. This is due to the compression problem of Bodyshop (I talked about it in a previous Tumblr post).

I’m just saying if Daniel Radcliffe, the literal protagonist of the Harry Potter franchise since the age of ten years old, was able to disavow JK Rowling and move on from the HP universe then actually what the fuck is anyone else’s excuse. There is no one else on the planet who can say their entire childhood was HP more than that guy and he still cared about trans people more than the average tumblr user who says “we’re protesting by making all her characters queer and trans!!” like you can do better. How to read object error logs: I just want to know what causes it!!

Reason for the error This info is extremely useful for modders. For example, stack number out of range -error here is solvable by changing one value (and is a common error to get since it's easy to forget to change it).

Common errors are listed here.

BHAV where the error happens This info is useful for everyone! If you're getting an error, with this knowledge you can check if you have any mods that include the culprit BHAV. It's possible that the mod causes the error by itself, or that there's a mod conflict.

You can search for specific BHAVs with SiMidge.

Or you can dump the error log to What Caused This and it will do the same search for you.

The specific line in that BHAV that causes the error This info is essential for modders. Points out exactly where the problem is. Please provide the error log every time you report an error caused by a mod.
