assuming an “adult” is 18+ and a “minor” is under 18 is not only a geographic bias (this varies drastically by state/province/country/etc.) but it doesn’t make any sense to consider a relationship between the two inherently “pedophilia” in the first place

nobody magically becomes an adult overnight and most people’s brains aren’t fully developed until they’re in their mid-twenties...your eighteenth birthday doesn’t make you feel any different than you did the day prior, lol

is someone rich dating someone poor inherently abusive? of course not. that’s a huge imbalance in power dynamics, but it can be addressed if the relationship is happy, healthy, and both parties are frequently communicating and making compromises

can they become abusive? of fucking course, but so can any relationship when one or both parties start to slack in the areas that keep them healthy and safe!

please, focus on what actually matters, for real, in the real world
