Baby Bottle Pot: A Historical Override

Here is a piece of terracotta pottery to serve milk to your baby, should your sim be unable to breastfeed. This is my first time making an override, so do let me know if anything goes awry! I tested it in game with infants and newborns, and it seems to work well.

For thousands of years in many cultures across the globe, baby bottles were simple small cups or jars with a spout or hole in the top to allow the baby to drink from them. They were typically made from terracotta or other earthenware materials. 

**Note that this is a default replacement, meaning that it should NOT be used with any other baby bottle overrides in game at once!

Medieval Retail Therapy Overhaul (Patreon FREE)

I am SO proud of this. This is my first successful frankenmesh project and I am also new to making overrides so this whole set was such a fun adventure! This week, I bring you a small set of medieval retail items to help make running a business feel more authentic for your medieval Sims.

I focused on providing replacements/alternatives for the retail objects that your Sims are forced to use at their retail businesses.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

A new functional coin box & ledger cash register (8 swatches)

Restock sign overrides (for floor, surfaces, walls, and ceilings)

Retail tablet override

IMPORTANT INFO

The retail tablet and restock signs are OVERRIDES. They replace the original retail tablet and restock signs, so they will conflict with anything that touches these objects. NEVER install more than one override for the same object.

The coin box cash register is not an override. It shouldn’t conflict with anything and you can still use the other cash registers. You can find it in Build/Buy with the other cash registers.

The coin box is functional as a cash register but Sims will still do the same animation they do with the other cash registers.

The retail tablet also replaces the tablet that the Grim Reaper uses when he reaps your Sims. This was an unintended feature but still useful for medieval saves so I kept it like that!

Everything in this set requires the Get To Work expansion pack.

HOW TO INSTALL

I found this empty save file by this simmer that has no buildings or townies and instead they've used the tool mod to clutter each world. Be aware they use like every single pack but this is really good for someone who wants to build from scratch.

If you play on PC/Mac, I’d highly recommend using the Auto Employees | Custom Lot Trait mod by LittleMsSam:

Install the mod,

Go to build mode and add the “Professional” lot trait,

Go to live mode and click on a door to allow the NPCs to show up.

I also recommend the Retail Overhaul mod by LittleMsSam if you like this kind of gameplay.

Waterside Avenue is one of the most lively streets in Willow Creek. Locals and tourists come every day of the week to shop, browse the aisles or enjoy delicious pastries. Here, there are lots of things to do. In these old historic buildings, you can find a coffee shop, electronics and appliance stores, a hair salon and even a movie-themed bar and a supermarket.

Old Townhouse

This lot comes with townhouse which is devided into 3 apartments. Each apartment is furnished in its own unique style according who lives there: grandmother, granddaughter and cat live in the first apartment; a young guy-hikikomori lives in the second apartment; in the third one lives a couple who renovate the apartment.

The small apartment on the top floor of a residential building can be rent for group of friends or for a large family! I did not clutter up the bedrooms too much so that your sim can bring their stuff there. I chose Rental lot type but you can use it as residential too.

Oof my wholesome family gameplay turned a lil spicy. So Mallory and Franklin are actually in  polyamorous relationship with another guy named Lucas (achievable with Lumpinou’s Open Love Mod). They’ve been together for a very long time with no issues, heck, they have 5 kids together! Franklin recently decided he wanted to get married to Mallory so he proposed on Winterfest. Poor Lucas got jealous and stormed out the house. Now he has the “feeling like shit” sentiment towards both Mallory and Franklin (curtesy of another Lumpinou mod). I genuinely feel bad for him.

I know people go on and on about this problem but WHO THE HELL CODED THE HIGHCHAIRS. There is no reason on this planet that the highchairs should be coded this fucking bad. I threw a Harvestfest Party and I couldn’t get shit done because the toddlers where CONSTANTLY being let out. And they were being let out so that they could grab the food I was about to give them. I want to pull my fucking hair out.

There are five children in this household and it is STRESS. Mallory had twins her first pregnancy and then had triplets on her second. When sis came back with her ultrasound during the triplets pregnancy I hardcore panicked. I had no space for those crotch goblins so I had to completely rebuild the house (and I am NOT a builder).The twins are named Archy ( The one with the 25 shirt on) and Oliver (the one with the teddy bear shirt on). The triplets are Flynn (The one in the hoodie), Scott (the one the overalls), and Penelope (The only girl).

JFC This Community

God damn! I wake up and decide to do some CC hunting only to find y’all bullied one of the top maxis match creators for black hair off the platform??? WTF is wrong with y’all. Beyond all the anxiety and stress you nasties caused poor Shelly, you just made playing the game harder for TONS of black simmers now. Two of the top black cc creators are leaving the community, and don't get it twisted no hate towards them; health comes first, but we’re down two amazingly talented people who made making diverse sims more achievable. Hopefully, we can have some new creators on the scene, as long as this community learns how to behave itself and not foam at the mouth at the slightest hint of drama jfc.

Realism are honestly really pretentious at times. They keep acting like there isn’t a whole subsection of the community that likes occults. Occult players have gotten two packs and now that Happy Haunts has gotten a lot interest the realism players are screaming that they have been too many supernatural packs. Like wtf honestly.

There’s no single occult in this pack

I literally play this game just for the occult options and if i wanted realism i would live my damn life and not play sims

But there are like other infinite possibilities for more occult gameplay than star wars. All the “aliens” you see in this pack are fantasies. There’s no way ea gave us like 10+ alien species. They cant give us more skintones and y'all still SIMPING.

I’m actually with you on this. I love occults although I don’t play with them much but unless they are revamping the alien life stage this will most certainly be a pack full of costumes. This feels like paying for a 30$ advertisement. It’s really gross
