This is Damon. (Pictured here in a non-canon Steven Universe cosplay. His canon outfit consists of jeans and a leather jacket, tattered and dirty.) Born in the faraway year of 2000 2132 AD, years after a nuclear apocalypse has ravaged the Earth, he was raised by various friendly and not-so-friendly people over the course of his 18 year long life. In the five years before the story takes place he has been a henchman in a large gang that is controlling a large part of midwestern America. This comes with some benefits, like a replacement cyborg eye when his natural eye was damaged in a shoot-out. Despite the various misfortunes that has plagued his life, he has kept an optimistic and happy-go-lucky attitude, which is one of his defining characteristics. On his 18th birthday, he discovers a prototype time machine in an old lab. Unable to contain his curiosity, he activates it and accidentally travels with it 300 years into the past, before the world’s destruction, and to a time when cyborgs couldn’t even be conceived...
