Boundaries
Hello everyone…. I know this is different from my usual posts, but I’ve been feeling my boundaries being pushed lately…. And it’s been making me uncomfortable….. so I think it’s time to officially put some rules on my page…..
Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for the support given to me for the past few years I’ve been on here, but sometimes people take things a little too far….
1-Please don’t DM me for free art….especially if we’re not close or we just met. I enjoy drawing for people, I love taking requests (When I ask or when I feel like drawing them) but when people feel like I’m obligated to draw them things just cause they follow me….it makes me feel less of a human and makes me feel like I’m only seen as a art machine….And if I tell you I can’t draw right now, that means you back off.
2- I don’t get on tumblr a lot, it’s not my main Social Media I use. I check it here and there, either to post or just to look at art. If I tell you this, please don’t spam my messages constantly, especially if I’ve already explained. I have a life outside of drawing and social media.
I’ve had people act weird about me and my art throughout the years, and I think it’s time for me to set these boundaries for my safety and to make me feel more comfortable and less of a stranger on my own account. If you can’t respect these, then it’s best to block me or move on. And if you cross these boundaries, I have a right to block.
That being said, I will no longer answer DMs on here. If I do it’ll be for maybe art trades, or talking to people I know, or with people from the same fandoms as me. If you wanna talk about my art, I always accept comments and reblogs
