In today's episode of "What was the Architect Thinking?," we revisit this weird 1991 home in Lancaster, PA that hasn't sold, and is back on the market. This time, it's already been on for 89 days. The 5bd, 4.5ba, 8,901sqft home is still listed at $2.35m. It's a rare gem- take a look.
A bridge over a gulley leads to the front door surrounded by glass block.
Enter a foyer with a coat closet and glass doors.
Then, there's a sunken lounge area where you can see all sorts of structures and things on the ceiling. The wide pony wall surrounding the area has ample room for plants.
Stepping up to this area, there's more seating. Think that's a hot tub in the floor and note the triangular planters in the floor, too.
Taking the other stairs leads to the kitchen with a dining area up another 2 steps.
There is a fireplace in the middle of the kitchen and the cabinets curve in a semicircular configuration.
Also a very large home office space.
Then, down 2 more steps, there's a family room.
