Ok main thoughts so far on the TM9 main characters for the first 4 episodes. Haven't seen Critical Role this is the animated show knowledge only! NO SPOILERS IN ANY REPLIES PLEASE!

Caleb: Still hoping out that Nott’s “did you kill THEM” line, not her, leaves it open that Caleb’s person he loved is a man *crosses fingers* Sad hobo wizard and his dead cat and his desperate search for materials to let off awesome if short bursts of magic needs a lover, that’s for sure. When will those desperately sad eyes be explained? <3<3 And who did he murder from the wanted poster…ahh the tragic past character, GIVE IT TO ME! Nein.

Though I get the feeling they’re ALL tragic past characters.

Nott: What the hell happened to HER (which was a shock to discover O_o) to make her drink like that?? What’s she trying to forget? And is she actually a child? It’s not a clear.  Though her tears in episode 4 over the dead child was…rather extreme?? Felt out of character for what we know about her so far. “Not this time”. Did you kill a child?!?! You’re very against your appearance, makes me think you didn’t start out looking the way you do….maybe she’s cursed??? Cursed for killing a child?? Ah the speculation, I love it.

Beau: She’s THE character! I mean gender fuck for the first time she spoke and then BAM nearly every swear word in the show is out of her mouth and I love it! Seeing her make friends with the Nein is gonna be so endearing, she’s gonna find her protective streak isn’t she? She’s gonna love them all eventually.

Molly: WOW! Now that’s a tragic start that’s for sure! Do always love the troupe of found family man loses everything to find a new family.  Okay whats with the blood thing, he doesn’t know he’s doing it? Anything to do with blood magic (or whatever this is called) never ends well normally. Evidently he’s had a past life but if it’s just the kryn that have them, what’s the kryn doing reincarnated outside of the country?? How?? His blood turned to ice when it dropped to the floor…Molly is either going to end up super happy or super sad, it’ll be one or the other. Probably sad. Somethings gonna happen…

Fjord: Cowardly man with new unexplained magic trying to make his way through world with horny pixie girl? Fjord nothing that’s happened to you is what you expected huh? Lol I feel he’s gonna have a great growing arc, finding an accepted place.  Only good things should happen to Fjord. OOOOO please have a great protective moment over Jester! Or, lots of them!!....please hoping they end up together, I never go for “straight” couples but they’d be so much more than that.

Jester: Omg I love her and nothing bad should ever happen to her let her live her life magiking dildos out of thin air and fawning over Fjord <3 Though the traveler, the fact he (whatever he is) doesn’t seem to have been around since she met Fjord…I don’t think she’s nuts, the traveler exists, but exists as what is a different question and whatever he is he better not hurt her! How and why did he come to her in the first place…was he protecting her against something? Is this a long con? No clue. Can’t wait to find out!
