I’m always surprised when someone gives the cherry-picked “evil” things Charlie Kirk said, nobody ever responds with the full quote.

Is it because you think they won’t read it or care about reality? This is curiosity, not trying to be sarcastic or malicious

I’ve seen plenty of people responding with the full quotes and I make a point to share them when they come across my feed.

The main reason I personally don’t always respond with the full quotes when I’m talking to someone who uses a partial quote to try and make him look bad is because my main point that I’m trying to communicate to people is that even if they were right, even if he said the things they think he did, murder is still wrong.

Celebrating murder is still wrong. And people need to understand they cannot justify the murder of a man by repeating the words he said.

That’s the main thing I want people to get so when people come to me and make a claim about something he allegedly said my first response is always “so?”

Because what they’re trying to do is justify murder or explain why it’s ok to not care that he was murdered.

It’s also important to share Charlie’s actual words and the full quotes in context to push back against the slander being done. And I have personally seen plenty of people doing just that and I will also continue to share his full quotes.

Because I do believe truth will win in the end. It just has to fight to be heard.

You know right wing nuts love to claim the quotes are taken out of context when the shows, podcast and interviews he's done are all available to watch.

You'd think if they were really fans of him they'd WANT people to share his views for everyone to see. I mean unless they aren't confident in what he had to say that is.

We claim the quotes are taken out of context because we HAVE listened to his podcast and watched his shows and interviews. That’s how we know they’re out of context. You clearly have not. You just hear bits and pieces and decide you know the rest.

We are sharing his words for everyone to see. But way to go showing the people against him are all insufferably stupid.

I have a coworker who is a trump supporter. Not diehard or anything but she voted for him nonetheless. Yesterday she was having a conversation with someone else I know (let's call him Deshawn for the sake of coherence) about Trump and Deshawn does not like him one bit. I didn't catch the whole conversation because I was busy but my coworker said "yeah my mom came from Mexico but she came here the right way." Deshawn and I just looked at each other like "well I'm not gonna be the one to tell her."
