The worst part about anything that’s self-destructive is that it’s so intimate. You become so close with your addictions and illnesses that leaving them behind is like killing the part of yourself that taught you how to survive.

Sometimes I think about using drugs again but it will never be just using drugs for me. It will escalate I’ll abuse them to them abusing me, to them destroying me and, ultimately killing me. I love drugs I love to party I love the highs but I cannot afford them, because for an addict like me the price is to steep. It only takes one and I’m in far too deep.
