i like a lot of people. does not mean I agree with their fans, with everything they do, etc. lets not forget that these are filthy rich guys - most suck, we can stay for entertainment values!

otherwise, a bit about me: my name's ev, i've been watching f1 sporadically since about 2020 but only got "connected" to the drivers end of '24 and now in 2025. I am such a bad driver but itstill love f1 for the driving and strategy. I love analytics/stats.

Sometimes i remember that lewis has won 7 titles but he’s also gone to the last race of a season with a chance of winning and lost 4 times (2007, 2010, 2016, 2021) and Max has only won 4 times and i feel so much better at the verstappies trying to yell at me he’s better or the goat.

here’s something to think about: no one deserves a world championship but the world champion did win because he got the most points at the end of the year.

rewatching baku and i just. The haters laughed and said that lando only managed to cut the gap by 6 points (6 more points than your favorite got ahem) yet turned around and cried at Oscar’s 3.1 second stop in qatar, how it impaired him insanely. Yes qatar is hard to overtake on. Lando did it, actually. But that’s besides the point. With these cars it’s pretty damn hard to overtake insanely in baku (as street circuits are) and lando had a 4.1 second stop that dropped him from p4 to p8. like. Use ONE cell in your brain c’mon

if you are out here saying that no driver is spending 24/7 on the sim like Max, and therefore he's (prepping) better, let's think a little.

max is living with his girlfriend, her daughter, and his daughter—and Lily is at the prime time of connection. she's in the prime stage of forming trust and love with her caregivers.

a person is not something you can fix if you mess up early.

I really, truly hope that max is taking this off-time, even as we're nearing the beginning of the season, to spend with his family and not being 24/7 working like you seem so insistant to say.

obviously, we've seen from what Kelly posts that they're enjoying their time off, and I also know that irl and racing sometimes doesn't mix in f1.

but saying that max is better because he's spending all of his time on the sim? when we know he's not, we know he's with his family and there's nothing bad about that at all? it's simply ridiculous.

@ everyone who's saying "lando doesn't deserve to be up there!" (mostly to y'all saying he's only won once. great people have only won once: James hunt, mario andretti, Jody scheckter, damon hill, Kimi Raikkonen, Jenson button, nico Rosberg, Jacques Villeneuve, and more.)

by your logic, neither does Fernando, or, gaspppp, MAX.

yeah, I said it. Lewis has won 7 world championships. the only person who has ever won so many is Michael Schumacher. they are the GOATs of F1.

don't cry about someone who you may or may not like winning. that's the sport, max said it himself: "if if if, if my mom had balls she'd be my dad." (like, Lewis could have ten world championships, eleven if you include 2010. but we're not talking about it, because that's an IF.)

this sport doesn't like "if"s. they don't exist, because either it happens or it doesn't.

so be thankful you'll get to watch four world champions next year, all racing each other at different teams, as well as a bunch of other, skilled drivers. be happy and accept that sometimes, your favorite loses and that's okay.

you move on, because this sport isn't an if sport.

if i was a driver in são paulo, i would do my best to stay away from oscar and i do mean it. In 2023 he was too slow but in 2024, he crashed into Lawson and in 2025 into Antonelli and Leclerc.

they tell you Lando is a bottler, so here are some stats (sorry you needed to be sacrificed Charles):

8 of his wins came from pole position. if Lando gets pole, he has a 50% of winning the race. his other 3 wins came from: miami24 P5, hungary25 P3, silverstone25 P3.

Charles Leclerc:

8 career wins | 27 career poles

5 of his wins came from pole position. if Charles gets pole, he has 18.5% of winning the race. um so. yeah that's not a good number, but! his other 3 wins came from: cota24 P4, monza24 P4, austria22 P2. (maybe when he starts from p4 he has a good chance)

do with this what you will, but here are some numbers.

max has the highest pole-to-win at 77.08% :)

81s saying that Oscar being nominated for more overtakes makes him better than Lando is not the flex you think it is fyi. it just means your driver needed to do more work to still not do as good 🫶 since lando won 🫶 and all 🫶
