I forgot about the still life painting option so I had a little fun with it. It's nice to personalize all my sim houses.
My Pleasantview:
Sub-Hood - Blue Water Village
Gilbert Jacquet married the brunette townie that he's friends with when you start the game. I'm pretty sure her hair is dyed because their children turned out blonde. They had twins, a boy and a girl. Gilbert helped his mom get the bakery running at tip top shape but focused most of his time getting to the top of his career to become perma platinum. Denise finally passed on and lovingly haunts the homestead.
My Pleasantview: Sub-hood: Blue Water Village Stephen Tinker (pictured above) and Wanda ended up with 6 kids because Wanda had a LTW of marrying off 6 kids before she died, but didn't have a lot of time before she aged. So, she had 2 sets of twins and then a single for her total of 6. The 2nd picture is of her 5 kids after Melody. Aiden, Goran, Ardith, Zora and Indira. And the final picture is Melody Tinker as an young adult.
My Pleasantview has 62 houses, only one of which is vacant right now. It is filled with descendants of premade sims and NPC's and townies that have been made playable. I also have Blue Water Village attached with 27 homes, all occupied + businesses. And Downtown has 35 of 38 homes occupied. I know some day it will probably end up unplayable due to corruption, but at that time I guess I will just start over. I have never reset my game and started playing this neighborhood Oct. 16, 2005. I play 5 other neighborhoods in rotation and have taken two 3-month long breaks in that time period. One because my computer was not working and the other because I took a reading challenge to read at least 100 books in a year and used those 3 months to push through to read 124.
Pleasantview is my biggest neighborhood. I only have game expansions through Seasons and I play on my gaming laptop. I love the Sims 2! I haven't gotten bored for any sufficient amount of time and look forward to playing my families. :)
My Pleasantview: Here are 5 of Daniel and Mary-Sue's kids. (Angela and Lilith are out of the house of course). 1st picture left to right: Natalie, Wendy standing behind Amanda and Whitney far right. Wendy and Whitney are twins, followed by Natalie, then Amanda. 2nd photo Daniel finally gets his son. D.J. which of course is short for Daniel Jr. Daniel and Mary Sue as elders.
My Pleasantview:
Bella Goth finally lost her battle with her illness and left the octuplets when they were teens. The octuplets relationship with their father Don Lothario is inconstant and if it weren't for the doctor being like an aunt to them, even choosing to stay on and raise them to college, they would feel like they only had each other. Bella stops by once in a while to remind them that she's still watching over them. Here she reminds them that fitness is important.
My Pleasantview: Beau Broke's life changed when he was a child. His mother married Mortimer Goth and they moved into the Goth Manor. Mortimer was a very caring step-father and Beau was afforded the richness of not only a wealthy family, but of a loving, caring and full of life family. Here is his wedding to former teen townie (from Nightlife I think), Katarina Jeffries whom he attended SSU with. Guests in attendance were his twice widowed mother Brandi (R.I.P. Mortimer), his friend Whitney Pleasant, his brother Dustin Broke, his step-brother Alexander Goth, his brother Carson Broke, his friend Tara Kat, and his half-sister Abigail Goth. The wedding and after party was a huge success!
My Pleasantview:
Lucy Burb's wedding to University townie, Eric Dalton. Lucy's LTW is to marry off 6 kids. Eric's is to max all skills. Their kids left to right, 2nd to last row: Devon Dalton, Georgia Dalton and Dexter Dalton. Last row left to right: Dixon Dalton, Gianna Dalton, Desmond Dalton
My Pleasantview: Most couples in Pleasantview I did not follow the story line with, but Angela, Dustin, Dirk and Lilith all ended up at college together and the girls both ended up with high chemistry for their former teen boyfriends, so I decided, "what the heck", might as well stay traditional with a couple of Pleasantview sims. Above, Dustin and Angela as adults and their 3 kids. Denim, Destiny, and August.
My Pleasantview: Dirk and Lilith ended up together. Their firstborn's were a set of twin boys, Dash and Linus. And they had another son named Aaron.
My Pleasantview: Above top: Alexander's fiance in college. (Formerly a townie teen from Nightlife EP). In my game her name is Suzanne Hogan. Getting ready for her wedding. They inherit Goth Manor, and Alex's step-mom Brandi volunteers to move to the attic to give them some room and some privacy. She turns the attic into her own little haven.
My Pleasantview: Update - Bella's Octuplets. Yes, they are pretty much identical. Thank goodness they stand out in personalities as they become kids, and they don't all wear the same thing and the same hairstyle. Poor Bella would be so confused! Bella is still pretty frail, but has become very good friends with her live in doctor. Don would do anything to cure her, and pays handsomely for the doctor, Amaryllis Lockheart to stay on. Don has kept Bella a secret. He visits infrequently so the girls don't have a very high relationship with him as of yet.
My Pleasantview: Cassandra finds true love in the arms of a townie. Her bakery does well and they end up moving to the house right next door to the Goth Manor. Cassandra is excited that she'll be able to be close to her brother and his family. Photo 1: Jeff Hanby Photo Line 2: (Left) Cassandra holding toddler Gabriel. (Right) Toddler Kerry. Twins. Photo Line 3: Sibling BFF's Photo Line 4: Twins as teens. Photo Line 5: Solomon (Don Jr.) as a young adult.
My Pleasantview: Don Lothario finally gets his LTW after various women waltz in and out of his life, leaving him a baby daddy to some, but not others. He settles down with his final, Demi Love, who it took forever to convince to be more than friends after since she was pretty aware of his scandalous ways. But she took the plunge and she and Don had a good life. Top photo: Don and Demi while Demi is pregnant with their first. 2nd photo: Don and Demi's son and heir, Ethan Lothario. 3rd photo: Don and his happy family. Elder sibling Ethan, and twins Molina and Saydie. 4th, 5th and 6th photo's: Ethan, Molina and Saydie as teens Final photo: Don as an elder on the phone to one of his kids. With Demi's encouragement, he sought out some of them he didn't have relationships with and made it right with them.
My Pleasantview: Kaylynn Langerak ended up marrying townie Benjamin Long. They had a son named Nathan (pictured above middle) and a daughter named Janae (pictured above bottom left and right).
My Pleasantview: Nina ended up with Mr. Big who's name is Johnathan Hiatt in my PV. They had a son named Duke. Nina wasn't my favorite to play, but she was alright. I do like her descendants though.
My Pleasantview: Dina presented a quandary for me after hooking Mortimer up with Brandi, who was not a gold digger and got along so well with Morty. I am all about giving all my sims a chance and so I started thinking, how could I get Dina away from her gold digger reputation. Well, when she had a lot of chemistry with Darren, I realized it was perfect. Darren was a starving artist, so no one in Pleasantview would think that Dina was after him just for money. It was purely a love match. They started out by talking about losing spouses, something they had in common and were soon talking about starting a family together. Dina wanted to reach the top of the medical career, and she buckled down and worked hard. Darren's LTW was to max all skills, so Dina let him stay home and work on that, while getting his art gallery home business off to the ground as well. They had twins, Daffodil and Daisy (pictured left middle and right middle above) and Dirk got along fabulously with all, including his step-mother. In fact, he rolled the LTW to become Chief of Staff as well, and when he returned from college, Dina was able to help him gain some promotions at her Hospital. When she was ready to retire, Dirk took over. I couldn't have been more happy with this match. :)
