If you’ve been playing The Sims 3 for a while, you know how quickly your game folder can get cluttered with cache files, crash logs, and leftover temporary files. Over time, this can slow your game, cause glitches, or even trigger crashes.
ctrlshiftclean is the solution.
What is does:
Deletes old cache files like CASPartCache.package and scriptCache.package.
Clears WorldCache, Thumbnails, FeaturedItems, and IGACache.
Removes crash logs and script error logs.
Cleans your DCBackup folder while keeping your ccmerged.package safe.
No more removing files one by one—ctrlshiftclean handles the cleanup for you, keeping your folders organized and your game running smooth.

The Sims 3 Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff
The Sims 2 Kitchen & Bath Stuff converted to The Sims 3!
This pack includes 52 items, 16 wallpapers, 10 floors, and a collection file with a custom icon. All the items were UV edited to make them CASTable, textures got upscaled to look nicer in game (no texture is above 1024 to make sure it's gameplay friendly), and the original TS2 catalog descriptions and prices for nostalgia!
For the cabinets I used CTNutmegger designs as a reference, but it's not a conversion of her meshes. I also added a professional bar edition to the original juice bars that came with the pack, so Late Night is required to use them in game.

Masterlist: Gameplay enhancing mods! [100+ mods and counting]
We often see questions on Reddit from Simmers, asking for mods that enhance their gameplay. We decided to compile a list of mods players found useful (the list will be growing!). Before these, we recommend everyone check out our [guide] on optimizing their game first, and installing mods necessary for gameplay. NOTE - We have not tested all these mods together and we do not know if they all clash well. Use as your own risk and remember to back up your The Sims 3 folder before testing them. + Some mods are dependent on certain Expansion Packs.

These were created with the CloudUIRecolour Tool by @cowplantcartel !
The first one is called ‘True TS2’ - it’s made to look as close to the Sims 2 UI as I could get
The second one is called ‘Softer TS2’ - it uses a more toned-down, easier on the eyes colour palette, while still being reminiscent of TS2
You can only use one UI mod at once so take ur pick :P
I also recommend using these alongside the TS2 font replacement - as seen in my previews - you can download that here!

Download either UI as a .zip file (you can only have one in game at once!) and place the main package file in your: Sims 3 -> Mods -> Overrides folder

The UIs will be incompatible with any other UI mod - and if you're replacing a previous UI you had installed, make sure you fully remove all the files associated with it from your mods folder
