Halloween Legacy info update.

So, we've got a list of 20 films, which should be enough for 10 generations. We'll be randomizing them and assigning one to each of the 10 generations. In the meantime, head on over to Necile's LiveJournal for some polls regarding founder stuff (I.e. gender, surname, aspiration, etc. I figured it was easiest to do it this way, since I'm rubbish at doing polls here.) After that's done, we'll start accepting participants, and work out other details. Thanks!

I (Necile) am currently the only admin who plays TS2, and seeing as we're hosting a TS2 legacy pretty soon, we could use some more TS2 players to help answer questions and keep track of legacy-related things.

What is this?

So, after getting inspired by the upcoming Autumn, TheHalloweenChallenge community on DreamWidth, and discussing this with Lovely, we've decided that a Halloween-themed legacy for TS2 is in order. Right now, we're in the brainstorming stages, meaning we're gathering naming themes and other fine details. We'll be posting a couple of question posts to get some feedback, so it's not just us making a set of rules blindly. We want to take your suggestions into consideration. So. Things we do know for sure:

We want to use Laridian's Round Robin rules, as they're relatively simple and easy to follow.

We want to use Halloween-themed movies as naming guidelines. Not the most original thing, considering THC did this as well. We're going to compile a list of films with your help!

This legacy will be for TS2 only, since we haven't hosted one yet.

I think that's about it, as far as concrete things go. We'll make another post with more details once we get some feedback from you guys.
