I loaded up Tumbleton again. @letthemplaysims mentioned it again recently, so I thought I’d have my Tumbleton JRO visit all the community lots in the interest of playtesting. I’m also impressed by all the talent here, and it’s fun to see the townies and the lots in action.

Here they are at Augustus Ristorante. Johnny wanted to be paid to DJ, and Ophelia wanted to watch the stars with Ripp on this nice… hard surface? Maybe that’s why they got up again so soon.

It’s also interesting to play these three, because I played this Ripp through to having woohoo with 20 different sims, and those wants seem to disappear completely once they’ve been filled. So that persistent want to woohoo with many sims goes away and the romance sim in question seems much more ready to settle down.

lulu has 0 nice points so he was just BOMBING with anyone he talked to. finally Glenn (by @mmmork) walked by, and the two MIRACULOUSLY had two whole bolts.

Hello! I like the NPCs used for Tumbleton; I was wondering how I can use them as the NPCs for my own hood(i.e. barista, bartender, obedience trainer, etc.). Do I have to wait for my game to generate its own NPCs and change them using SimPe? Or is there a set of mods I can use to do so in-game? I have not figured out how to create custom NPCs like hosts, waiters, etc.

Originally, all the NPCs were generated in the game (either letting the game do it naturally, or using the Townie Gun/external mods), then had their appearance changed using Theo’s Alternate Sim Surgery and all their other stats adjusted manually in SimPE. You so that and can pick and choose which NPCs you want to change in your game.

If you’d like the entire packag,e including townies - you can convert Tumbleton into a subhood, attach it to your main hood, and delete the subhood, leaving the sims behind (it will randomize all the names, though)! You can also download Tumbleton, delete all the lots, and use Mootilda’s Hood Replace utility to swap the terrain into something you prefer, though this method will only work with brand-new hoods that you want to make from scratch, not existing ones. Bear in mind that Tumbleton is a huge hood and had a lot of SimPE work done on it, so I can’t guarantee in 100% that adding it as a subhood is safe for your neighborhood, as it wasn’t its design purpose; make sure to try it on a throwaway hood for several days to see if anything weird starts happening!

I tried putting Tumbleton in the Program Files to replace the default townie pool, but it ended up sort of screwy, so that’s not recommended.

@letthemplaysims​‘s Enrique apparently settled down for business career after his failed attempt of showbiz and a few years as constantly drunk pink gorilla. Even his suit fits nicely that plushy hat! Nice to see this guy find his way :)

Our Grey Lady, Shell Valley

Shell Valley’s Church of the Peteran Faith, mostly decorated for the Christmas service. (ignore the fact that i still need to finish the side garden) 

I can’t take any credit for this lot as the church was originally made by @mmmork for the @simscommunityproject here, because i had limited space needed to rebuild it instead of making it over to match the town, but believe me that the original is fantastic, go ahead and test it!.

The eldest of Sarah and Snow White’s adopted children (and children altogether) is the beautiful Rani by @olivemuenda. 

She’s fallen for Tumbleton newspaper boy Elias Norman (made by @mikexx2) and the two have grown to be my favourite YA pairing (as I play much faster than I update, and they’re in college right now).

Any plans for a university subhood?

Not currently! I’ve recently bought a new computer, and don’t have The Sims 2 installed as of now, since I’m busy with real life stuff. I will let you guys know when I’m ready to start the subhoods!

Life in the McNair’s tiny apartment was apparently not cramped enough with the three of them (Raspberry, Anna-Beth and Geraldine, PLUS Anna-Beth’s secret baby bump), so they decided to adopt little Ramona by mmmork.

She’s a cutie.

Raspberry and Anna-Beth getting along swimmingly. Anna-Beth also had a little makeover, I was going to keep her with short hair but then that one really suited her.

Meanwhile in Tumbleton, I’m still working on sowing all of Ripp’s wild oats before he officially settles down with Johnny and Ophelia to sow his “slightly less wild” oats.

This was the weirdest Blind Date I ever did. Starting parents were Mama Mayfield and Shaun Alanko/Enrique Ingnominia and Marco Cabrera. Game crashed when I was getting my final screenshoots, so i had to use circles to tell you which ones moved on to have kids. Lol I’mma redo this.

I decided to join with the Tumbleton Blind Date (Second Edition) challenge and see what I could come up with. So here we go…

The first couple was America Valdez (by Yandereplumsim) and Bobby Tuppence (by Sushigal007). Their children were Jordan, Amelia and Trevor.

The second couple was Susann Stevensens (by Goldpandaah) and Gary Misfit (by Officialmonster). Their children were Emily, Mike and Justin.

My favorites were Amelia and Justin. They had three lovely children named Emma, Lily and Thomas.

And for final result, I picked Lily, a girl who’s into football and likes to spend time with her cat named Kim.
