Kopenhagen bedroom

As promised I made the bedroom in the same style as the last set. Again the characteristics for this set are gentle curves and organic shapes in nude and earthy tones. Its a bit minimalistic and modern but still has a cozy and warm vibe. I also tried to incooperate some nice textures to give the fabric on the bed and chair some more depth.

The set contains of 9 new meshes and swatches. Its a good mix of furniture pieces and also some decor pieces. The bedding is animated to let your Sims have a good rest whenever its needed :). The set can be found by its set name or/and Plush Pixels.

The Apartment Copenhagen - Part One

Happy July Everyone!

A little later than planned, but I'm happy to finally be able to release part one of this set. I really didn't want to rush the colouration process as it is really the highlight of a set like this. I took the opportunity to create a whole new colour palette of colours as the foundation for this set (wood tones match all previous sets). During my research I kept on seeing these amazing pastel colours combined and so I decided to not be afraid to use colour with these items. Of course you can still have those calm neutral interiors, but I do encourage you to try and experiment with a little colour 😉

💡Pro Tip: Ceilings can appear very dark in game, but using pendant lighting or uplighters on the wall can reduce this as they cast light upwards. However those gorgeous tiny spot lights we all like to use do not do that job so well.

Before we start, I am still quite overwhelmed by all your lovely comments on the Estate WIP. Thank you so much!

As I mentioned, the next theme will be The Estate Set and Part 1 consists of 48 items. Let me give a summary of what is included:

I want to discuss a few extra details. Let's start with your favourite Vines. There are five pieces with different shapes. The vines have seven colour swatches, creating a gradient from very green to red tips when placed next. It looks lovely as a Wall with colour variation in your Vines. You should try it :)

For the first time, I created functional friezes and foot trims; I don't think I can ever go back. They are so easy to use and speed up building a lot. However, I added a few extra pieces to create proper pediments for your estates, something I have always wanted.

I have been separating my windows from their frames, giving more options and colour combinations. This month, I created a separate Palladian window frame. You place two of the small windows next to the arched window, you place the Stone Frame on top, and voila, you have a Venetian Window :D.

Most of the Stone pieces have aged colour swatches. Whether you prefer a freshly renovated look or more Patina, the choice is yours :)

Generally, to make things easy and to give you more freedom while building, I like to use bb.moveobjects and ctrl + F5 for quarter tile placement. There are a lot of details, and sometimes, they go on top of each other.
