all i want is a super hero story where the villain is monologuing and the hero doesnt interrupt!!! like the villain is going on and on but when he looks at the hero, expecting them to have escaped or fallen asleep or some rude gag, he sees the hero listening intently, asking him to go on and telling him that its fascinating. and so this happens every time the villain captures the hero, he does his monologue and the hero actually pays attention!! and so the villain starts actually just telling the hero why hes a villain, whatever drove him to do this, he just talks. and the hero listens. and they become friends, they work through the villains issues and reintroduce himto normal life and its pure!! and nice!!! and i just want villains working through their shit with the hero yknow?? if you know any examples of something like this tell me because i l i ve for it
tldr: hero listens to villain’s monologue because its interesting!! and he put time into it!!! eventual trust and friendship
Why do we always wind up here

idk if I've told this story on here before but one time I was sitting at my desk at work and a random dog I'd never seen before strolled into my office and curled up at my feet. and I was like oh you are adorable but what the fuck?
then a woman knocked on the door and said "oh I'm so sorry he's a therapy dog he's trained to seek out people in severe distress"
and I was like right okay, just getting my whole life drive-by roasted by a dog then
I was at a restaurant one time and the dog from a nearby table kept alerting the owner and trying to get to me. Like this dog was straining against the leash so hard to get close to me. They asked if it was ok for the dog to come up to me and I said sure, I love dogs. This dog comes over and plants herself at my feet with her head shoved between my knees. Finally the owner asked me if I was ok because their service dog was trained to comfort people in distress, and that's what she's trained to do to comfort people. I was having a silent panic attack and trying to hide it but got outed by a dog. The dog did help though so that was nice
I had a virtual therapy appointment yesterday. I usually go in person, so this was a first with this particular therapist. I started getting a little upset at one point in the session, and her cat immediately jumps up and starts investigating the camera. She moved him with a sigh and said he always hops up on the desk when he senses someone in turmoil. Felt a little roasted ngl.
Every once in a while I’m like “hm I think I’m due for a panic attack” and then I get a panic attack like the same day. Either I’m summoning them by thinking about it or I can smell them on the wind and it’s impossible to tell which tbh
Just came home from a dinner party with the friendgroup at which several people kept saying "Ask Pedro" or "Pedro will know" and I was terrified that they were referring to an AI like Claude but no, thank fuck, they were referring to a cardboard cutout of Pedro Pascal that someone left upstairs and who has been designated a kind of patron saint status in the household.
