Hey there! My name is Miguel, I’m a trans young adult, i live in São Paulo (Brazil), and I am a freelancer tattoo artist. However, my city is currently under lockdown due to coronavírus (and it’s been more than 15 days, I’m keeping count), and our president was literally called BolsoNero by the Economist, because he’s literally fiddling around while our country dies.

Being a freelancer, I don’t have a regular income to see myself through these awful quarantine times. I have asked for help, again and again. I’m honestly scared, and preparing for the worst.

Being a tattoo artist, I have some artistic skills, and my commissions are open! If you can, I urge you to consider commissioning me! I’m running out of money for food fast. :’(

update: the quarantine in são paulo got extended yesterday by our state government. no one is allowed to leave their houses until april 22 (aside from health workers and the usual necessary services to the population, like gas stations, pharmacies and supermarkets). i’m so scared, and my Mother is p much making me pay rent by making tattoos on her, as absurd as it may sound.

I think it’s important to say that I am bipolar (medically diagnosed and I do take meds so my mood swings don’t… swing as much [?]), so I’m very prone to have panic attacks and bouts of really heavy depression, the type where I am so messed up I just stay in bed, without forces to get up. It’s horrible, but I’m coping with it.

if you can’t donate, i completely understand! trust me, i do!! it’s a rough time for a lot of people right now. but please, p l e a s e consider at least signal boosting this post!!! that’s a great help for me!
