tw exercise / body talk

yesterday I did a run that I’ve done probably 100 times in the last eight years and got my best time on a segment (a little under a mile with like 150 feet of climbing). it didn’t even feel like I was giving it full effort. it didn’t feel easy, exactly, but it felt…casual?

anyway just feels kind of wild to realize that I am actually in pretty good shape right now. it still feels very foreign to me to feel that way even though exercising and being “athletic” (lol) has been a huge part of my life for over a decade.
