Thorton completely blocked out the others question, not really by his own conscious choice of course. He was too busy trying to stabilize himself. Groaning, he wobbled backwards hoping there would be a wall behind him to rest upon as he was far too disorientated to look himself. Everything was spinning, and that was an understatement. Hiccuping as he backed into empty space, he tripped in his dizzy confusion and landed on his behind. It took him awhile to wrap his arms around his stomach, one eventually finding his mouth to cover it. He clenched his jaw, determined to at least not vomit until he could make sense of where he was or of anything around him. Though this of course wasnât a certain thing after all. Have he had some clarity to his thoughts heâd look towards the blonde to see his reaction over the otherâs sudden illness. This definitely was not the same as using warp panels. Least with warp panels everything was uniform and it was through short distances. Not irregular pokemon based transportation.Â
He was hardly overreacting at the sudden wave of illness, eyes closed shut tight in order to try to will it away. Even he could tell though that his body wouldnât calm itself until the sensation was gone. Though the other probably wouldnât help him, and thorton was in no condition to even ask if he had wanted, his only choices were to just try to shake off the dizzy spell by walking and forcing it away, or waiting for it to pass. His stomach didnât like either and lurched further, another groan muffled by his hand.
As expected, the kid became sick when they arrived in town.
Colress watched him fall backwards with an amused smile on his face. It seemed Thorton was not going to handle his first teleport any better than he had.
He waited until the biggest risk of the other one throwing up had passed, and then lifted him up by his arms, planting him on his feet and steering him towards the shops and houses lining the square they had appeared in.
âCome on, on you go, this is nothing a cup of tea cannot fix.â
He led Thorton over to a small coffee shop, pushed the door open and planted the younger one down on a chair next to the window, before taking a seat opposite of the other and calling the waitress.
âSo, here we are. Feel free to pick anything you like, though I can imagine youâre not too keen on eating anything big right now.â He laughed softly.
He eyed Thorton with some curiosity, trying to find anything similar in his face. Perhaps he could ask him about his family, if he had any and where they were at the moment. Not that he didnât know the answer to that, but it wouldnât hurt to poke around a little.
Itâd only make it an even bigger surprise to prove Thorton wrong.
