you know,,, Soap is injured and running through Las Almas in pain and bleeding, realistically developed some kind of infection in his shoulder and yet like 10 minutes after they escape and get to Alejandro’s safe house he’s fine.

You cannot tell me he wouldn’t be tired and dizzy from pain and blood loss, and the infection he definitely had. Ghost would have shaky hands trying to patch up his shoulder. Soap would say “You got me out of there L.T., you got me.” and Ghost would just stay quiet, knowing that if he speaks his voice will betray him. Because he didn’t know if Soap would make it out, all he had to do was trust him, and that was already too difficult for him.

idk i might be insane but i really genuinely like the emperor's romance arc. something about him having to hide who he is - what he is - in order for anyone to trust him, to not think he's an emotionless monster. he's been doing this for a long time, learning how to blend in for his own survival. but then he finds someone who isn't scared of him like this, who maybe even prefers this form to his previous one, to whatever face he wore to gain your trust. that face doesn't matter anymore. you can see him now, the real him, and it doesn't repulse you. you trust him. you trust him.
