PEDRO PASCAL today in Mallorca
one of the most challenging skills i've had to learn as an adult is the art of figuring out whether i'm proportionally annoyed with someone or just tired and overstimulated and looking for reasons to be pissed off
congratulations to the only post i've ever had breach 100k notes without any real discourse or fighting, just a lot of people wearily going, oh, god, same
need jensen’s big beefy arms 👅

me, reaching into my dresser drawer for black pants: I hope this isn’t the pair with big holes worn in the inner thighs
Marie Kondo, gently over my shoulder: why is a pair of pants you find unwearable still in your dresser drawer
me: oh shit that’s right!! The dresser is for clothes that under some circumstance I might conceivably wear!!
Marie Kondo, beaming proudly: Yes, that’s correct!! These pants must have been your favorites. How wonderful that they were so comfortable and practical that you wore them out. But now since they no longer function as pants, you should move them from the drawer where you keep your functioning pants!
me: Yes thanks I got it they’re in the fabric basket now
Marie Kondo, fading back into the darkness: I love what you’ve done with the kitchen!!
The notion of KonMari as some creepy semi-embodied but entirely benevolent spirit, like a well-intentioned Bloody Mary, is so perfect and wonderful.
My ocs are so awesome and beautiful
Everybody wants to hear about my ocs
I know my oc's lore and can put it coherently into words
My ocs are amazing

Everybody loves my oc's Issues and Tribulations
My ocs are the most beautiful blorbos on earth
I can make their life worse
I'll never stop hyping up other people OC's because what do you mean you created this thing out of the love of the game and gave life not just to them, but the other characters around them
Please keep bringing up the whimsy in my timeline I will literally snort it like a line of coke

Howard V. Brown (1878-1945), "The Model Workers"
Brown was a really cool 1930s pulp sci-fi magazine artist. This one isn’t sci-fi, but it still might be my favorite work of his! Which is an odd thing to find myself saying, given that — as longtime readers may have noticed over the 13 years I’ve run this blog — I really like sci-fi art.
I found more info on it! It's Brown's June 1924 cover to Scientific American.
Here's a larger version of the original artwork, too.
I wonder what structure is being added here.
