Couldn't really think of anything christmas related so I just kinda went with a vague template for the more than common holiday posting. So instead of using a chubby dude who sneaks in your house once a year as an excuse to have a midnight snack painstakingly laid out by any younglings and/or pets that evening... We should all just take a moment, and find somewhere to sit for fifteen minutes, just fifteen minutes of sitting, you can have your friend or blood relative join if you'd like, but just take fifteen minutes to sit in complete silence. Whatever you do with your thoughts is up to you, but this act will change your life one way or another. Also, don't just decide to be all happy and stuff because of a ritualistic holiday thing. Peeps should at least attempt to make daily life something worth being thankful for or at least something pleasant instead of stressing over making the "perfect" christmas and whatnot. Sure this doesn't apply to everyone, but it's a nice idea. I think... maybe... probably not. If anything, I'm just excessively bored. Yet at the same time, I don't feel bored. So is it truly boredom when i'm only aware that my mental state has all the symptoms of boredom, but on the outside I feel content? Or am I just at the point where boredom is a tool for me battle my own mind in an attempt to feel content with life as it is even though absolutely nothing worth noting is happening, and that in itself is something worth noting because it's not everyday you come across a perfect moment of serenity one only finds in utter silence. So in this vicious circle of contradiction, lies, and self-betrayal, is it possible for one such as myself to become one with the ether and experience the true world instead of that which blinds us with media, technology, fellow humans, abstract concepts and marshmallow treats? Perhaps one day the answer will be found lying in the proverbial sand of a galactic beach which will only be discovered by the chosen....
